Covid-19
We would like to thank you for your support and thoughts during this pandemic. It has certainly
been an incredibly challenging year for everyone! But, as the covid-19 numbers continue to go down,
we are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel with renewed interest in safe travel. We are happy to say
that we have begun to run tours again, and Liz and Cara will both be returning to work in September.
Both Funtastic Getaways and Bloom Bus have put in place protocols to ensure safe travel: Bloom Bus
uses an electrostatic fogger & hand sanitizes touch points daily; and has upgraded air filtration
systems. Currently, we can run tours with up to 26 people on the bus (two seats per person), masks
are required, and we are providing pocket-size hand sanitizer as you enter the bus. We are
contacting our vendors 45 days prior to each trip to see that they can safely take the group and to see
if any adjustments to the itinerary need to be made. If any changes need to be made due to covid-19,
we will send you that information along with the invoice. Thank you for your patience as we navigate
this ever-changing pandemic.

Signing up for a trip is easy - simply call us at 508-457-7461 or toll-free 1-866-518-687
Space will be held on a tentative basis for you when reserving a trip. We reserve 1
the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received in a timely manner.
Deposits & Cancellations:
Since we are obligated to make financial commitments to my suppliers prior to a tour's departure based
on your anticipated participation, we have instituted the following reservation & cancellation policies:
Daytrips: Full payment is due 45 days prior to the trip, and is Refundable up to 14 days prior to the trip
Daytrips with ticketed events (theatre, show, or ballgame):
Shows under $ 100 require full payment to reserve, shows over $ 100 require $ 75 per person to reserve
Balance is due 60 days prior to the trip and is Non-refundable unless your ticket is resold
Overnight motorcoach trips:
$ 75 per person deposit to reserve space. Balance is due 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise noted.
Payments are refundable up to 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise noted.
Overnight motorcoach trips with ticketed events (theatre, show or ballgame):
A $ 100 per person, non-refundable deposit is required to reserve. Balance is due 60 days prior to the trip
Deposit will be refunded if your ticket is resold, and the balance is refundable up to 30 days prior to departure
For longer overnight trips & cruises, and trips including airfare – please check the individual
fliers for deposit and cancellation policies
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE is available for all trips - for overnight trips, you’ll receive pricing with
your invoice. For daytrips, insurance is $7 per person for all trips that do not involve theater. Theater
daytrip’s insurance cost is $14 per person.
We have included a walking guide in the brochure, which you’ll find at the end of each tour description:
A trip with minimal walking
A trip that includes moderate walking at your own pace
A trip that includes extended periods of walking or guided walking tours.
On some tours, you may be able to omit portions of the tour that are too physical for you. As always, if you
have any questions about the tour, don’t hesitate to call.
Trips with this icon are shorter in length - 8 hours or less from the bridge (9 hours or less from Dennis)
Customary end-of-tour gratuities are included for the driver, escort and local tour guide (when a step-
on guide is hired), wait staff, and baggage handlers. Gratuities for hotel housekeeping staff are not included
unless otherwise noted on your itinerary, and a basic gratuity of $ 2-3 per person, per day is customary
Pickup locations:
Our Hyannis pickup is at the commuter lot behind Burger King at exit 6 off Route 6. This is NOT the Burger
King parking lot, as they will tow any vehicles left there for an extended time. Park in the commuter lot and
wait at the enclosures for the bus – please be sure that you are parked in a legal parking spot – if you are on
the grass or outside of the marked parking spots, you will be issued a parking citation. The police patrol this
lot and will ticket/tow any car that is parked illegally. As always, parking is at your own risk at any of our pickup
locations.

2. Barnstable Commuter lot, Route 132, Hyannis – if you find that there are no remaining legal parking
places, please proceed to either Sagamore or Dennis (if you have time) to meet the bus – do NOT go
to the Hyannis Transportation Center
3. Sagamore Commuter lot, at the foot of the Sagamore Bridge
Your requested pickup location will be printed on your sales receipt or invoice. Please arrive at least 10
minutes prior to the departure time and call the office if you decide to change to a different pickup location.
In the interest of fairness to those boarding in Hyannis & Sagamore as well as our handicapped passengers,
we assign seats on the bus, as they do on the airlines, on a first-come, first- serve basis. If you are traveling
with friends and signing up separately, be sure to let us know who you are traveling with so that we can seat
you next to each other. Single travelers will be given their own seats if space allows or may be seated with
another single traveler. Please sit in your assigned seat until after we have picked up in Sagamore, then you
can change seats if there is an empty seat is available.
2 The office is open Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. If you get
our voicemail when you call, please leave a message and we will return your call – most
times we are in the office but simply on the other line helping another customer.

Be sure to check out our website for more information, including departure & return times for
each trip and links to video clips for our theater trips. Click the button to subscribe to our
monthly e-newsletter, where you can get monthly email updates including new trips that have
been added, travel tips and more.
Signing up for a trip is easy – simply call us with your name, phone number, number of
seats needed, and pick-up location. The person that made the reservation will receive an
invoice 6-7 weeks prior to the trip with departure times and any balance due listed. If you are
mailing in a payment, please keep the lower portion for your records, as your pickup time &
location are printed on the invoice. For an overnight trip, you will receive a mailing with your
itinerary and luggage tags approximately 30 days prior to your trip.

OCTOBER
Mount Washington Cog Railway, Saturday, October 3 - Board the Cog Railway to
take an unforgettable journey to the top of Mount Washington. Once at the summit, visitors
can take in the spectacular panoramic view, spanning the mountains and valleys of New
Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, north into Canada to Quebec, and east to the Atlantic
Ocean. At the summit is the mile-high visitor’s center including a museum (admission
included), gift shops, post office, and a year-round weather station. Before ascending the
mountain, we will enjoy a soup & sandwich lunch at Peppersass Restaurant. $ 155
Pocono Mountain Fall Foliage Getaway, Tuesday, October 13 – Friday, October 16
– Travel to northeast Pennsylvania’s beautiful
Pocono Mountains to enjoy the crisp fall air,
foliage, and explore some amazing waterfalls and
charming small towns. DAY 1 – We will visit
Grey Towers National Historic Site, a Gilded
Age French Chateau-style mansion. We’ll learn
about the family history on our tour of the mansion. Our hotel is the four-diamond Mount
Airy Casino Resort, located on Mount Pocono. The Resort has over 1,800 slot machines,
72 table games, a world-class spa & salon, fitness center, and four restaurants, all
surrounded by the serenity of the Pocono Mountains. We’ll receive a casino bonus of $ 30
per day and daily breakfast & dinner vouchers. (D) DAY 2 - The Delaware River cuts
through the Appalachian Mountains in the Delaware Water Gap, creating scenic mountain
views and waterfalls. Visit the "Niagara of Pennsylvania," Bushkill Falls, a series of
eight waterfalls with fabulous views of the fall colors. It's a short distance to view the
Main Falls (a 15-minute walk). Three additional trails provide viewing angles of all eight
waterfalls. We’ll stop at Dingman’s Falls, to take the ½ mile flat boardwalk path past the
beautiful 80-foot long Silverthread Falls to the base of the 130-foot long Dingmans Falls.
Then, stop at quaint Stroudsburg, which looks like a town untouched since the 50’s, to
explore the downtown’s many shops and enjoy lunch before returning to the hotel. (B,D)
DAY 3 - We’ll take a guided bus & walking tour of Jim Thorpe, known as the
"Switzerland of America," and have time to shop and enjoy lunch downtown before our
tour of the Asa Packer Mansion, where you’ll learn about philanthropist Asa Packer and
his rags to riches life. Before returning to Mount Airy Resort, we will stop for photos at
Penn’s Peak, where you’ll have a 50-mile panoramic view of the Appalachian 3
Mountains. (B, D). DAY 4 - Stop at Callies Candy Kitchen & Pretzel Factory, the go-
to for all things delicious in the Pocono Mountains! From chocolate covered creations to
handmade candies, Callie’s has something for everyone. We’ll also stop at The Shops at
American Candle, a Pocono’s staple that is filled with not only candles, but gift items,

Fall in Massachusetts, Friday, October 16 -
Visit Yankee Candle’s Flagship Store in Deerfield, where
you’ll have time to browse their enormous selection of
scented candles & gifts, stroll the Bavarian Christmas
Village, Nutcracker Castle, and venture into the Black Forest
to watch the snow fall! Then travel along the Mohawk Trail, considered the most beautiful
drive in Massachusetts; it is also home to some of the best foliage in the state! Take a walk
through the Bridge of Flowers, a botanical garden planted along the sides of an old trolley
bridge and see the geologic potholes of the Deerfield River in scenic Shelburne Falls. We
will visit Red Apple Farm where we’ll take a hayride into the orchard while we hear about
the innovated eco-friendly advances on the farm. Enjoy a sample of their fresh apple cider,
pick ¼ peck of apples and visit with their farm animals. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the
Old Mill Restaurant (choice of stuffed chicken breast or Yankee pot roast). $ 105
Beautiful Berkshires with Clark Art Institute, Saturday, October 17 – We will
start our western MA adventure into the Berkshire Mountains in the quaint town of
Stockbridge. Enjoy a delicious traditional New England lunch at the historic Red Lion
Inn (choice of chicken pot pie or Yankee pot roast). Stroll the picturesque downtown full
of boutiques, galleries, and shops and then take a one-hour docent tour and free time at
the Clark Art Institute. The collection of the Clark features European and American
paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, photographs, decorative arts, and the works of
Winslow Homer, George Inness, and John Singer Sargent. $ 135

Vermont Sampler, Saturday, November 14 - We will visit the company
headquarters & baker’s store for King Arthur
Flour, packed with everything you need for baking,
from hard-to-find ingredients, innovative gadgets, and
top-quality pans, to easy mixes and a huge selection of
baking basics. Shop their extensive baker’s store to
get all the ingredients that you will need for your
holiday baking. Enjoy lunch on your own & some
light shopping in the quaint town of Hanover. Stop at a true Vermont classic, the Vermont
Country Store, You’ll enjoy browsing through the shelves here to find products that will
connect you with long forgotten memories, hard to find items, useful items, gourmet foods
and, of course, Vermont Cheddar. End the day at Putney Mountain Winery, relax while
sampling their wines and learning about their wine making process. $ 105
4 Boston Museum of Fine Arts: Monet & Boston Lasting Impressions,
Tuesday, November 17 - The MFA brings together its
unparalleled collection of Monet paintings for the first
time in a generation. Claude Monet had a bold vision and
radical approach that included a vibrant palette and visible
brushwork and proposed a new way of seeing and depicting
the world. His impact was far reaching and today his works
are beloved around the globe. The MFA celebrates its great
treasure of a collection with a once-in-a-generation chance to see all 35 of the museum’s
oil paintings by Monet. It has been 25 years since the entire collection was shown together.
“Monet and Boston: Lasting Impression” highlights the Museum’s enduring commitment
to the artist. Enjoy 4 ½ hours to explore the traveling exhibits, the general exhibit halls and
to enjoy lunch on own at the museum. $ 85
A Taste of Vermont at the Essex Culinary Resort &
Spa, Wednesday, November 18 – Friday, November 20
– As the holidays approach, our thoughts turn to holiday
entertaining, foods, and gift-giving – and that is what this
getaway is all about. We will visit the Burlington, VT area for
a fun culinary-themed getaway at the Four-Diamond Essex Culinary Resort & Spa to
learn some creative new recipes that will be sure to inspire your upcoming holiday menus.
The Resort offers culinary classes at their Cook Academy that are taught by professional
instructors, an indoor pool, full-service spa, the interactive restaurant with an open kitchen
for a behind-the-scenes view, a Tavern, and a bakery. DAY 1 – Enjoy time for lunch &
light shopping in quaint Hanover, VT and then shop at the company headquarters &
baker’s store for King Arthur Flour, which is packed with everything you need for baking,
from hard-to-find ingredients, innovative gadgets, and easy mixes and a huge selection of
baking basics. A warm welcome reception awaits us at the Essex Culinary Resort, and
before an included dinner at the hotel we will meet the Cook Academy
chef instructor for a fun step by step hands-on class on making
Truffles. The chef will introduce us to truffles, talk about the process,
and then we will each make some truffles to take home. Recipes are

DAY 2 – You can either enjoy the day at the resort (maybe take a
private class at the Cook Academy or enjoy the pool & spa) or come with us to visit some
of Vermont’s finest culinary shops to pick up some VT culinary treats for entertaining,
hostess gifts, and gift baskets! Our first stop is at Dakin Farm, well-known for the quality
meat that they smoke on the premises. They also offer a wide selection of cheese, maple
syrup, jellies, chutneys, fudge, gourmet foods and gift items. Then, visit Lake Champlain
Chocolates to shop, sample chocolates, and watch the production line
through large windows. Enjoy time for lunch and shopping at Church St.
Marketplace, a 3-block pedestrian-only mall in downtown Burlington that
is filled with a variety of stores, boutiques, and restaurants. Relax at the
hotel before we meet our instructor for a holiday-themed cocktail class to
learn how to WOW your guests with some new and delicious holiday-
inspired cocktails. This is a hands-on class where you will make and
sample some delicious cocktails. You will take home the recipes to freshen 5

stop at Sugarbush Farm, a three-generation farm that is famous for its waxed cheddar
cheeses made the traditional way and pure maple syrup, both made right on the farm. Enjoy
time for lunch and shopping in Woodstock before stopping at the Vermont Country Store,
where you will find clothes, gifts, cheese, specialty foods, and Mildred’s Dairy Bar, a great

largest arts & craft festival in New England features the distinctive work
of over 300 master crafters from all over New England and beyond;
you will find home accessories, designer fashions, artisan jewelry, handcrafted holiday
décor, gourmet foods and one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts. When you are ready to take a
break from the craft festival, you can enjoy lunch at one of the 34 restaurants in Mohegan
Sun, peruse the 46 galleria shops, take in the beautiful holiday décor around the resort, or
try your luck on the gaming floor. A casino bonus package with a $15 food coupon (or

Christmas with the Boston Pops, Date TBA - There are many stirring traditions
during the Christmas season, but none as magical as the Holiday
Pops. For a few short weeks, historic Symphony Hall becomes a
feast for the eyes and ears as Keith Lockhart and the Boston
Pops perform the most beloved music of the holiday season.
You’ll hear performances of beloved carols, inspiring orchestral
and choral masterpieces, unique Boston Pops arrangements of old
favorites, and enjoy a sing along featuring Yuletide tunes everyone knows and loves. Enjoy
time for lunch and shopping at the Prudential Center. Keith Lockhart is scheduled to conduct
this concert, but, as always, his schedule is subject to change. The Pops should be
announcing their Christmas schedule shorty, please call our office for details.
Boston Ballet’s “The Nutcracker,” Date TBA - A New England Christmas classic!
Let Mikko Nissinen's "The Nutcracker" and the incomparable Boston Ballet Co, capture
your imagination and transport you to a magical world of brave toy soldiers and dancing
candy canes. Follow Clara as she embarks on her journey filled with colorful characters,
breathtaking costumes, and majestic scenery. From the captivating dance of the Sugar Plum
Fairy to the iconic snow scene, this enchanting holiday classic - set to the beloved music of
Tchaikovsky - continues to enthrall audiences of all ages. After the performance we will
6 enjoy a Backstage Tour! Discover the secrets of the Boston Opera House and
explore behind-the-scenes areas of the theater, then take your bow from center stage. We
have orchestra seating for the 1:30 PM matinee at the Boston Opera House with free time
before the show for lunch on your own at the Prudential Center. Boston Ballet should be

Reagle Players “It’s Christmas Time,” Date TBA - Audiences of all ages are
enchanted by Reagle Player’s “It’s Christmas Time” – featuring several dozen yuletide
tunes, more than 150 talented performers backed by a full orchestra, a visit to Santa’s
Workshop, a Victorian Christmas, The Living Nativity, The Teddy Bears’ Nutcracker, and
The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers! Before our 4 PM show at the Reagle Theater in
Waltham, enjoy a delicious full lunch at The Chateau Restaurant. The Reagle Players has
not yet announced it’s Christmas show dates, please call our office for more details
Mount Washington Resort Holiday Getaway, Tuesday, December 1 -Thursday,
December 3 - Christmas is a special time at the Mount
Washington Hotel - the entire hotel is filled with Christmas
trees and lavish holiday decorations! Take a break from
your holiday shopping and enjoy some relaxation at this
Grand Hotel in New Hampshire. Travel back in time to
the early 1900’s, a time when wealthy travelers from
Boston & Portland would travel by rail to the White Mountains to enjoy the fresh mountain
air for the entire summer. Located at the foot of Mount Washington, the views of the
Presidential Range from either the 903-foot covered veranda or the massive windows of
the Conservatory are spectacular!
DAY 1 – We’ll arrive at the Four-Diamond Omni Mount Washington Resort, which will
be beautifully decorated for the holidays and enjoy a delicious full luncheon buffet in the
Main Dining Room that includes a salad bar, three entrees and assorted pies and cakes. Take
a tour of the hotel with the hotel’s concierge and then enjoy the evening at leisure. (L)
DAY 2 – The day is yours to relax or enjoy the daily schedule of activities including holiday
crafts, Yoga, movies, s’mores by the outdoor fire-pit, and more. Treat yourself to a
luxurious facial, soothing massage or one of the other indulgent spa services surrounded by
magnificent mountain views. Visit the stables and take a
trail ride or horse and carriage/sleigh ride around the
property. Weather permitting, take a guided trek on
snowshoes or hit the outdoor rink for ice skating – bring

more. Then, we’ll stop at Parker’s Maple Barn for a delicious Sugar Party lunch that
includes eggs, sausage, plain or blueberry pancakes, bacon, ham, fresh maple syrup, coffee,

Festival of Lights & Blithewold Mansion, Friday, December 4 - Nestled 7
between Narragansett and Mount Hope Bay, most of Bristol, RI
is filled with stately, historic mansions. Blithewold Mansion is
a beautiful seaside garden estate where we will enjoy
breathtaking views of Narragansett Bay on our guided tour of
the graceful mansion. Every year, Blithewold transforms into a
dazzling display celebrating the magic of Christmas including a
soaring 18-foot Christmas tree in the foyer. Each room of the Mansion is filled with
elaborate holiday decorations, and the gardens become a glimmering winter wonderland!

Motown Museum to stand in Recording Studio A and to
view the restored upper flat where Berry Gordy lived during
the company’s earliest days. Berry Gordy’s legendary
Motown sound has become one of the most significant
musical accomplishments of the 20th century. Recording
artists included Diana Ross & the Supremes, Smokey
Robinson & the Miracles, Stevie Wonder, the Temptations, the Four Tops, Marvin Gaye,
