Meet the Supplier - McCormack family Farms | Musgrave MarketPlace Supplier
Founded in County Meath in 1984 by Edward McCormack, McCormack Family Farms began
growing vegetables such as broccoli and lettuce and selling them directly to the Smithfield
market in Dublin. In 1998 Edward and his son Stephen decided to start growing herbs
alongside their vegetables. In the year 2000, they decided to focus their efforts solely on herbs
and baby leaf production, as they felt an Irish company could produce them just as well, if not
better than continental companies.
Eddie and his wife Laura are very proud to watch their children pick up the mantle. Today
their son Stephen runs the family business with the support of his wife Caitriona and their
three children.

experience in Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck,
Antoinette Osborne has always liked delving
deep into the workings behind food. Winner of
the Musgrave MarketPlace scholarship in the
final year of her BA in Culinary Arts, Antoinette
enjoys culinary research but equally thrives on
the buzz of a busy restaurant kitchen. She won
accolades for her final year project in New Product
Development, a pectin-based mango sweet,
suitable for vegetarians and allergy sufferers alike.
