Shady Grove Gardens 828-297-4098 • Floral Designer: Susan Wright has been a cut flower grower and designers for 30+ years, focusing on Floral Design for weddings. We can offer you a wide variety of style and flower choice, plus the uniqueness you seek for your special day. She is at the forefront of the Farmer/ Florist, Slow Flowers movement, as a member of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers. Susan trained as a member of the International Chapel Design group as well as with other designers. Our experience, affords you a calm, well-planned wedding experience.
Shady Grove Gardens 828-297-4098 Choose from - 3 Wedding Flower Options: Our Full Floral Design Experience (we do many smaller wedding too) Floral Design, rentals, delivery, setup, the works. The minimum to commit to a full service wedding before delivery is $2000. This minimum commitment allows us to focus on your wedding, developing style, theme and unique flowers designs just for you. Susan carefully crafts designs with your color scheme, style and favorite flowers, developing a full scale plan. Delivery is an additional 10-20%, varying with labor, distance and possible return cleanup and breakdown. ( you can opt for pick-up with a small packing charge) (with the current Covid situation our setup requirements may change) Design consultations are currently over the phone or Zoom. We prefer to work directly with brides or their family on smaller weddings. “Our flower style is abundant and natural.” Smaller weddings, can be arranged for pickup with $250 minimum order. In addition, some smaller wedding deliveries/setup can be arranged depend on that weekend’s other obligations.
Shady Grove Gardens 828-297-4098 Designs plus DIY buckets of flowers for the reception Usually we design the personal flowers and the family orders buckets of flowers to make their centerpieces. We do this all the time. There is a $250 minimum; this can include a flower bucket order. Our website not only has charts of flowers by color and weeks available, we also have monthly list of flowers with photos. click here: https:// www.shady-grove-gardens.com/flowers-by-month.html DIY Wedding Flowers by the bucketful If you want to do-it-all yourself, you'll be interested in our flowers by the bucketful. They are available as a carefully crafted mix of flowers @$85 or by color @$100. We make every effort to offer simply wonderful unique flowers for you to work with. Design and consulting are not included in this DIY option. We are always happy to answer questions over the phone. The buckets include our knowledgeable combination of focal, filler and line flowers. Specific color requests, & (May & October buckets) are $100 per bucket of 70 +stems. Mixed Greenery only, buckets are $85 all season. Mixed buckets are available late May- mid- October only. Specific flowers may be ordered longer into the season. •Flowers by the bunch: Use this option to order individual varieties we grow or standard florist flowers or greenery by the bunch.
Shady Grove Gardens 828-297-4098 Flowers by the bunch: these might include hydrangea, peony, sunflower, viburnum, tulip, ranunculus, eucalyptus, anemone and lilac. See our website for pricing of popular garden flowers. •Standard florist flowers by the bunch: these include roses, rose petals, seeded eucalyptus and pure white or blue florist hydrangea. This option requires you to know what you want and how many. Wholesale minimums will vary with the season, wholesaler and other orders, plan on a $200 minimum. Pricing: We work with brides of all budgets; using our locally grown flowers. Each wedding is unique, we ask for a retainer commitment before working on a detailed design proposal. We like to put our time into service rather graphics. How to Order: •For DIY bucket orders: look for the buttons on the website •For Floral Design: Look for the full wedding buttons on our website. We ask that you fill-in as much as possible before we set-up a consult. (physical address) From downtown Boone: take Hwy. 421 north, 9 miles to Will Isaacs Rd. Turn right and go all the way to the top, to the dead-end. Take the left driveway at the dead-end. The Cooler/Pickup is right at the dead- end. There are signs at the end of Will Isaacs Rd, plus an orange traffic cone at the cooler. (MapQuest is inaccurate) (GPS is the wrong way) Google and Apple maps work. There is a map on our website. Call when you are near or /at the Cooler we walk down to load you up. 828-297-4098 Pick-up tips : Be sure that you have plenty of room inside the vehicle that you are using for flower pick-up. Unload. Try not to bring extra people or luggage. If you send someone, make sure to communicate this information. Flowers are somewhat delicate and do not like to be out

Take care of the flowers and they will be spectacular! We appreciate your order and are pleased to help you have a great wedding! Payment: We prefer checks for the initial deposit. We take Credit Cards (plus serve fee), checks and cash for the balance due 4 weeks before the wedding date. Bucket only orders: the balance may be paid at pick up. Out of town checks are not excepted the day of pick-up. Refundable bucket deposits(when you borrow our buckets) must be in cash or we add a credit card surcharge. • To insure a date or any order of flowers, sooner is better. • We're finding a few specific dates each summer month to be very popular, place your order with 1/2 retainer, well ahead of your wedding.
