2 Saturday, February 13, 2021 — THE MEDICINE HAT NEWS ROSE STEIN 1921 ~ 2020 JOHN LEASK EDWARD LAZAR Rose Stein of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the age of 99 years, beloved wife of the late Mike Stein. She leaves to 1931~ 2020 1948 ~ 2020 It is with great sadness that we announce that John Harvey Leask of Edward Lazar passed away suddenly in Medicine Hat on Monday, December cherish her memory her son Randy Stein (Cindy Gyorkos); sisters-in-law, Carol Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, December 28th, 2020 at the age of 28, 2020, at the age of 72 years. He leaves behind his daughters, Rebecca Stein, Clare Stein and Rose Peters along with numerous nieces and nephews 89 years. John is survived by his son, George “Geo” Leask (Selena Fisher); (Mark) Wedman and April Lazar; granddaughters, Isabella and Sophia from both families. She was predeceased by her parents Nick and Wilhelmina daughter, Vivian Leask; grandchildren, Mitchell Leask (Sam Morris), Matthew Wedman as well as one brother, Kenneth Lazar. He was predeceased by his Peters; her husband Mike on April 4, 1974; her siblings, Adam (Loretta) Peters, Leask, Natasha (Chris) Kennett, Christina Duncan, and George Roti; great- parents, Jean and Andrew and his son, Mark in 2013. Edward was born in Betty (Peter) Metz, Bud (Frieda) Peters, Floyd (Irma) Peters, Frank (Rose) grandchildren, Maddy-Mae, Ember, and Hope; as well as numerous nieces Kamsack, SK., and raised on the family farm near Bredenbury, SK. His life was Peters, George (Barbara) Peters, Jack Peters, Joe (Ida) Peters, Roy Peters, Sheila and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, David and Norma Leask; spent working in the construction industry and he continued to enjoy (Albin) Rollack, and Mike’s family, Alex (Frances) Stein, Alphonse Stein, daughter, Connie Marie in infancy; brothers, Joe and Richard; and sisters, carpentry after his retirement. Edward loved classic cars, motorbikes and Andrew (Katie) Stein, Emily Stein, Erasmus (Mona) Stein, Joe (Rose) Stein, Pat Vivian, Beverly, and Mary. John was born on November 24, 1931 and raised watching hockey. Though not originally from Medicine Hat, he loved his Stein and Tony (Ann) Stein. Rose was born on December 20, 1921 on the on the family farm near Spalding, SK. John worked hard on the farm and adopted home and lived in the city for over 25 years. After growing up in Medicine Hat, she spent over 30 years in Missoula, Montana raising her family before returning to Alberta in 2002. LENO ALBERTINO MARGARET REINBOLDT 1943 ~ 2020 1934 ~ 2021 Gerhard Brost Sr., beloved husband of Helga Brost, passed away peacefully TONIN It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our beloved mother. into the arms of Jesus on January 4, 2021. Along with Helga, he also leaves to 1935~2021 Margaret Rose Reinboldt (nee Riffel), passed away in Medicine Hat with mourn his passing his children, Rosemarie (Rudolf) Merkle, Gerhard (Hilma) It is with great sadness the Tonin family announces the death of our dear family by her side on Wednesday, December 31, 2020, at the age of 77 years, Brost, Ute (Kyle) Rehill; grandchildren, Stefan (Stacey) Merkle, Dennis (Irina) husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather Leno Tonin (age 85) on after a short battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Merkle, Aaron (Sherry) Brost, Tim (Jenna) Brost, Sara (Grant) Hopkins, Adam January 3, 2021. Leno is also survived by Donald Reinboldt on March 23, 1963 in Medicine Hat at St. Patrick’s Roman Neuweiler, Rose (Harry) Siegloch; and numerous nephews, nieces, great his sister Elsa Proctor of Lethbridge as well as numerous nieces, nephews and Catholic Church. He leaves to Valentine Hoffner of Medicine Hat, AB, beloved husband of Anna Hoffner, together. Ken was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on March 5, 1936. Like cherish his memory his parents Rachel Abrahamson and Randy Schimpf; his passed away on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at the age of 90 years surrounded many he was born into a farming family and his younger years were spent sister Simone (Ryan Harty); his baby niece Claire Harty; his grandmothers, by family. Don was living his dream in Mexico with his loving partner Patricia Chavez. Don’s life was a continuous adventure as he pursued (nee KUNGEL) 1926 - 2021 Earl Good passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 94 his passion for family, business ventures, and Baja racing. Don was born in Alberta’s coal branch on March 02, 1954 and grew up in Evansburg, Hilda, 1935 ~ 2021 years, beloved husband of Thelma Good of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to and Medicine Hat.
