Strategic Partners NEWSLETTER – FEBRERO 2018 FANWIDE WINS THE SPALDING AND HYPE SPORTS INNOVATION GLOBAL COMPETITION The competition´s first place prize was $10,000 and the opportunity to present their solution to Spalding´s research and RICARDO TORMO development team. The top 3 companies also won a 6-month CIRCUIT BECOMES membership to the GSIC, free of charge. THE GSIC´S FIRST “FanWide is honored to receive this prestigious award and the RACE TRACK recognition of primary influencers in the sports industry,” says Symon Perriman, president and founder of FanWide. EVENT REGARDING FanWide, a United States-located startup that created a free SMART MANAGEMENT platform to organize meetups between fans and allows them to OF SOCIAL enjoy sports competitions together. Sports fans use the COMMUNICATION FanWide application to find the closest meetup site to watch the games of their favorite team no matter where they live or visit. It also included the support of Spalding, Silicon Valley Bank and the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. ACTUALIDAD Ricardo Tormo Circuit, the first track integrated into the Global Sports Innovation Center’s network Ricardo Tormo Circuit has become a part of the Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft, making it the first track to join the Innovation Center. This alliance promotes four main objectives. First, to assist the circuit’s digital transformation through diverse management technologies amongst the GSIC network. The fans will be the focus of the second objective: to improve the services offered before, during and after each event, tailoring the facilities to enhance fan experience. Their recently created Specialized Center for Motor Sport Technification which groups the two driving schools of the Circuit – la Cuna de Campeones y la Fórmula de Campeones – with the driving schools and road safety, is the agreement´s third objective. Finally, in the long-term, the alliance with the GSIC will serve to transform the Ricardo Tormo circuit into a ‘smart venue’ facility that will exceed the expectations of its users, clients and fans. 2

On this occasion we had the participation of Jesús Serrano, Business Development Architect of Microsoft Sport; Eduardo Gómez, CEO, and Juana Morales, Social Media Manager at Bull Comunicación; Miguel Ángel Cintas, Marketing Director of Atribus; Andrés Sánchez, Director of Customer Services at Viewmetric; and Mario Ramírez, Business Development of Toools, who had contributed their vision on the state of the matter in general and, in addition, carried out the analysis of the real cases they worked on in their respective companies. On this occasion, our strategic partner IDC Research, represented by Emilio Castellote, Senior Research Analyst, who has dealt with the topics of digital transformation, cloud, security, virtual reality and business infrastructure, among others. The attendees had the opportunity to know the conclusions of the report prepared by IDC on the main technological keys that companies should consider in the future: by 2019 there will be a 42% increase in spending aimed at the digital transformation and by 2021 at least 50% of world GDP will have been digitized. Companies will continue to invest in both infrastructure and services, so that more than 90% of companies will use services and platforms in the cloud.
