Out and About Beechwood Fishing Trip It was decided by some of the gents at Beechwood Aged Care that a ‘Boys Day’ was well overdue. The bus was loaded up and out the group headed to Blues Point, named after Billie Blue, a convict transported in 1801 for stealing a bag of sugar, for a spot of fishing!!! The highlight of the day was when Leonard reeled in a fish albeit a very small one just as a group of children passed. The children were so excited and Leonard was dishing out high fives all round. It was such a lovely moment for everyone. The group enjoyed a great day out sitting back and watching the waves lapping the edge of the shore, however next time the plan is to go to a location where bigger fish are biting. Special thank you to Via, the Beechwood bus driver who brings along all his fishing equipment for the group to use. 10 Allity | Family & Friends | Volume 1, 2021
