Sure, you can call the members of REO Speedwagon rock stars. But if you have to label them, here’s the

vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon has, for decades, been a confounding blend of
consistency and change. The group boasts a certified 22 million albums sold in the U.S. and 40 million around
the globe plus a string of gold and platinum records and international hit singles. The 9-times certified Hi
Infidelity remains a high-water mark for rock bands. The band has worked consistently onstage and in the

spins. The eyes have always been on the future and on the road – not a year has gone by where REO

Feeling.” Now you can see REO Speedwagon live at the Clark County Fair!

August 8th
Dierks Bentley with special guest Josh Kelly – 7:30pm

Dierks Bentley is an American country music artist who has been at the top of the charts, and has become an
influence on the country music scene. Ever since he released his self-titled debut album, both that release and
its follow-up, 2005's Modern Day Drifter, are certified platinum in the United States. A third album, 2006's Long
Trip Alone, is certified gold. It was followed in mid 2008 by a greatest hits package. His fourth album, Feel That
Fire was released in February 2009. Bentley's studio albums have accounted for fourteen singles on the
country charts, of which seven have reached No. 1 including his debut single "What Was I Thinkin'", as well as
"Come a Little Closer", "Settle for a Slowdown", "Every Mile a Memory", "Free and Easy (Down the Road I
Go)", "Feel That Fire" and "Sideways". Four more of his singles have reached the top five on the country charts
as well.
Josh Kelley decided, after spending the majority of the past decade as a successful pop and adult
contemporary artist, to return to the Southern sound he’s loved since childhood with his upcoming MCA
Nashville country release. While it may be his official debut into the country genre, Josh's previous hits, have
always contained discernible country flair. "This record is a time capsule. It's by far the best thing I've written
and I've never been more proud," revealed Josh, who wrote or co-wrote each of the album's eleven songs.
"I'm finally in a genre where I can write lyrics, tell stories and be a man."

August 9th
Three Days Grace with special guest My Darkest Days – 7:30pm

For Three Days Grace - when it came time to choose an album title for the follow-up to their 2006’s platinum-
certified One-X, the four band members thought the phrase “life starts now” summed things up pretty well. “The
new album is basically a commentary on the last couple years of our lives,” says drummer Neil Sanderson.
“Things have been fairly traumatic for more than one of us. We’ve all had to confront death on a few different
levels, and we’ve had family go through some health-related things, so, for us, Life Starts Now reflects that
feeling of redefining what life is and what it means to be alive after you hit rock bottom.” “The events of the
past few years have made us more aware of what life really can be,” says lead vocalist/guitarist Adam Gontier.
“So the album is about taking the situation that you’re in, no matter how bad it feels, and making the best of it.
Lyrically, most of the songs are based around that idea.”

The world doesn’t yet belong to My Darkest Days, but they’ve come a long way since singer/guitarist Matt
Walst, drummer Doug Oliver and bassist Brendan McMillan started the band. They were equally influenced by
hard rock groups like Nirvana, Tool and Deftones, along with the songwriting approach of the Beatles, in the
small town of Norwood, Ontario, where they grew up. Walst got a first-hand glimpse at what it takes to succeed
from his older brother Brad, bassist and co-founder of platinum rock band Three Days Grace which helped
when the group set out to record their debut, self-titled Mercury Records album. They now all touring together
and appearing for a night of stellar rock at the Clark County Fair!

August 11th
Mötley Crüe, Poison and New York Dolls

Be warned! Just when you thought it was safe to come out of the house, the world’s most notorious hard rock
band, Mötley Crüe is back, and the story isn’t a pretty one, but this time it has a happy ending. The Crüe
return with Saints of Los Angeles, their first CD with the original line-up -- Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee
and Vince Neil -- in over a decade and the ninth studio album in their career. Based on the autobiographical
events with very personal lyrics, the revealing CD offers tremendous insight into the lives of the rebellious
leaders of the “L.A. sleaze rock” movement.

Playing live is what Poison is all about. The music acts as a soundtrack to their live show. If you are an
avid Poison fan, then their appearance at the Clark County Fair is one not to miss. If you have never
seen Poison live, you'll be convinced that this is a band to be reckoned with. In a time when most music is
manipulated, copied, pasted and auto tuned in digital recording studios, the question that always begs to be
answered now more than ever is, "But, can they play it live?" Well, Poison can and always has!

The title of the New York Dolls’ fifth studio album, Dancing Backward in High Heels, might be seen as a
reference to their long-lost penchant for provocateur drag, as seen on the iconic black-and- white-and-pink
cover of their 1973 debut. But the phrase also alludes to the grand illusion in which hard work is disguised as
effortless grace. As untold thousands of bands who’ve taken the Dolls as their inspiration could tell you, all that
proto-punk passion and strutting ain’t quite as easy as it looks. The New York Dolls are back in action and
touring the country, and this rare appearance should be a treat for the countless Dolls fans across the US.

About FFA: Conceived in 1928 in Kansas City, MO, the organization started out as the "Future
Farmers of America". In 1988, the official name was changed to The National FFA Organization to
reflect the broadening field of agriculture, which today encompasses more than 300 careers in
everything from agri-science to biotechnology to turf grass management. For more info on the
National FFA Organization visit their web site at www.ffa.org.

About 4-H: No state can rightfully claim to be the birthplace of 4-H (Head, Heart, Hands, and Health), because
many states were experimenting with agricultural youth programs prior to 1900. These early
programs were frequently called "Boys Corn Clubs," "Girls Canning Clubs" or something similar.
These groups paved the way for a youth program to be part of the Cooperative Extension mission.
Visit www.fourcouncil.edu for more information on the 4-H.
