Scope of Works & Specification Following site establishment and surface preparation as listed below, the below areas have been allowed for in our quotation: All surfaces will be prepared by sanding and/or scrapping to remove any loose paint back to a sound edge. All external surfaces will be washed where practicable. Surface imperfections will be filled with a suitable compound prior to sanding and being primed. Areas of missing sealant will be gap filled prior to being finished with the suggested coating system below. All surfaces will receive a minimum of 2 finish coats of Premium Products. External Scope External Repaint Preparation and repainting to previously painted external eaves, fascia, barge boards, balcony ceilings and balcony posts, soffits, rendered walls, walkway walls, weatherboard cladding, slab bands and x4 front doors/frames. Exclusions The following items are excluded from our quotation: Windows, lintels, metal railings and balustrades and all other areas/surfaces not mentioned above. All pre-finished surfaces unless nominated in the above scope of works. Additional Comments The project has been priced to be painted in the existing colour scheme. If a colour change is required and additional coats are needed due to coverage, this may be subject to a variance. We have allowed for minor crack and timber repairs within our pricing. Any major building repairs identified throughout the project, would be priced as a variation and provided tothe Owners Corporation for approval Price Breakdown The following pricing schedule is inclusive of all labour, materials and access equipment for all works nominated within our scope of works as listed above: Area Value External Repaint $12,500.00 Entrance Gazebo $1,000.00 Total $13,500.00 GST $1,350.00 Total + GST $14,850.00 HBCF Insurance is included for all projects over $20,000 in value inclusive of GST Our quotation is valid for a period of 6 months from date of issue. Certificate of Completion - Robertson's will issue information on completion which covers the colours and paint finishes used. Robertson's Maintenance Programmes - are available to ensure longevity of your project - we can tailor a programme specifically to your individual needs and budget. Warranty • 5 year warranty on Robertson's workmanship • 10 year manufacturer's warranty on products and materials Warranty does not apply to the following: Coating failure due to water penetration or ingress. Coating failure due to pre-existing rust damage. Coating failure due to settlement cracking or other movement. Coating failure due to pre-existing timber rot. Coating failure due to pre-existing paint delaminating. Damage resulting from general wear and tear. Page 4
Terms and Conditions • Robertson's quotes are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issue - unless otherwise stated on the quote. • All paint colours and finishes are to be confirmed in writing prior to commencement. Changes to colours or finishes post commencement may incur additional charges. • Robertson's work hours are generally from 7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Saturday unless otherwise noted. • Robertson's quotes are based on work being done during our normal business hours unless otherwise noted. Additional charges will apply if work is to be carried out after these business hours. • The customer is expected to provide free of charge to Robertson's electrical power, running water and toilet facilities (where applicable) at the work site for the duration of the project. • Pre-existing materials such as lead paints or asbestos particle materials will be subject to additional costs to prepare or remove as appropriate unless otherwise stated in quote. • Payment terms shall be as agreed and noted to in the works contract. Payment terms for all other projects are 14 days from the date of the invoice unless otherwise noted. For projects $5,000 and above late payment will be subject to an initial 5% penalty and interest charges of 3% per calendar month. • If the client defaults payment of any invoice when due the client will be responsible for all costs incurred by Robertson's in pursuing the debt including legal costs. • Robertson's may suspend or terminate the supply of goods if the client is at any time in breach of any obligation including payment terms. Robertson's will not be liable to the client for any damage or loss incurred as a result. • Robertson's will not be subject to liquidated damages unless specifically stated in the quote. Liquidated damages shall be limited to 1% of the net price per week or to an overall 5% of the net price and shall only then be applied where an act or omission of Robertson's directly causes such damages. • Should any new laws or regulations be introduced by any level of government resulting in new changes being introduced our invoices will be adjusted accordingly for any increases or decreases in cost associated with these charges. • Payments cannot be withheld for reasons relating to defects or related issues if the client or client representative fails to notify Robertson's within 14 days of final invoice.
