Over the years we have expanded to offer the best of Outback Australia (the Red Centre), Kangaroo Island, Great Ocean Road and, of course, the Barossa Valley. We operate locally in Adelaide, South Australia and work with all local suppliers in each region to add to your Groovy experience. Barossa Valley Our first winery stop, the world-famous Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre, where we get a short-guided tour and a tasting of their current range of wines. Next stop, we visit Kies, a family run winery, here we taste wines that are only available at their cellar door. Grab a glass of your favourite red or white (complimentary from Kies) as we head next door for our seated restaurant lunch. Adelaide After lunch, we make our way to Angaston, one of the oldest towns in South Australia, here we stop at Taste Eden Valley where you can taste wines that come from all different wine makers in the Barossa Valley. Wanting something sweet? You can pair your tasting with Barossa made chocolates for an extra cost. Our final winery, Lambert Estate Wines, have made their name with their famous chocolate port! Enjoy the remarkable vineyard scenery from their balcony. As we make our way back to Adelaide we finish off at a scenic lookout over the Barossa Valley. Once on this pristine island we stop at Pennington Bay which has stunning coastal views, and if your lucky, a pod of dolphins frolicking in the surf! A big highlight for some is the guided walking tour along Seal Bay Beach with the endangered Australian Sea Lions, the only place in the world where you can do this. Or maybe your favourite is our adventure into Flinders Chase National Park where we take a short hike to view native wildlife and visit the Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, home to a large New Zealand Fur Seal colony. Adelaide For the evening we settle in at our farm stay accommodation located on the far western end of the island where there is less people and more animals. We enjoy a BBQ dinner here and swap stories around the camp fire as we watch the nocturnal wildlife come out to play. Kangaroo Island # In summer time, you can enjoy snorkelling, kayaking and swimming in the pristine coastal waters of Vivonne Bay, Hanson Bay or Stokes Bay. In winter, we appreciate the other natural beauties of this regions as we hike some of the many walking trails to spot koalas nesting in the gum trees or kangaroos hopping by. This evening we visit either the Balconies, Reeds Grampians or Boroka Lookout for an outstanding view over the Grampians National Park. VICTORIA Melbourne Day 2: This morning we hike to the top of the Pinnacle, once at the top we admire the surrounding scenery of the 12 Apostles Grampians as the sun is rising. Next, we visit Brambuk Cultural Centre, where we learn about the local Aboriginal History. Have you ever eaten lunch in a volcano? Well this is our next stop, Tower Hill Conservation Park, a dormant volcano over 30,000 years old. Spot the koalas, emus and kangaroos that call this place home. This afternoon is action packed along the iconic Great Ocean Road and the Shipwreck Coast! Admire the unique rock formations at the Bay of Martyrs, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge. We finish off the evening with a spectacular sunset over the 12 Apostles. Day 3: We start our day with a walk through one of the worlds oldest temperate rainforest in the Great Otway National Park. Next, we continue our journey along the Great Ocean Road, as the roads wind around with rainforest on one side and ocean on the other. Explore artistic beach towns of Lorne, Apollo Bay and Torquay before hitting the big city of Melbourne. Here we admire the unique rock formations that constantly change between each attraction. Lunch is somewhere truly special today, a 30,000-year-old volcano, don’t worry, it hasn’t erupted for a very long time! Look out for the resident koalas, kangaroos and emus as you explore this unique place. This afternoon we enter the stunning Grampians National Park. Our first stop is at Brambuk Cultural Centre to learn about the Aboriginal history and culture of the area. Next, we visit MacKenzie Falls that flows all year-round, finishing off the day with a panoramic lookout over the Grampians. Day 3: This morning we take a 2-hour hike to the Pinnacle view point. As we walk, kangaroos and wallabies hop by and at the top we admire the spectacular scenery as the sun rises. As we head to Adelaide, passing through the country side, we stop for lunch before continuing into Adelaide City. This itinerary is the same as the Grampians and Great Ocean Road Tour but in reverse.
