and experiences of different cultural origins: a lively and unique event on the world scene, it deals with crucial
issues, in free and open dialogue among the most interesting personalities of culture, politics and faith.
The title of the 40th edition is 'Nacque il tuo nome da ciò che fissavi' (your name was born from what you gazed
upon).
These verses which form the title, are taken from a poem by Karol Wojtyla. They focus on fact - experienced by
everyone, at least in the most important and decisive moments of life - that our "name", that is to say, our human
consistency is caused by what we stare at, by the relationship between us and another who is different fromEVENTI

ourselves. The image to which the poem refers is that of Veronica which fixes Christ as he passes by carrying the
cross.
Being aware of "being", being aware that one is "called" to exist is the most disturbing experience for all kind of

of each of us to all the dimensions of the world.
Inside the Meeting, there is also an entire area dedicated to children: every day exhibitions, songs, dances,

Demonstration of the Rimini maritime tradition
The initiative is an opportunity to discover the sea traditions of Rimini through a re-enactment of a kind of fishing
called 'La Tratta'.
'La Tratta' is a "poor" fishing technique from ancient time which hab been in use on the coast until the 1950s.
A practical demonstration will be proposed to keep alive the local tradition and discover the ancient fishing in the
Adriatic sea.
After the fishing demonstration, there will be tastings of grilled fish, according to the ancient Rimini tradition,
accompanied by 'piada' and local wine
The event is promoted by the Association 'Rimini per tutti onlus'.

Guided visit from the Arch of Augustus to Fellini's Fulgor Cinema
Every week during the summer Discover Rimini proposes a cultural walk accompanied by an expert guide, with
an endearing narration, to enjoy the beauty of the most important buildings of Rimini, from Roman times until
today, in a 20-centuries-long history.
Walking through the streets and squares of the old town, you will have the chance to admire the Arch of
Augustus, the Malatesta Temple, the Galli Theatre, the Old Fish Market, the Fulgor Cinema, recently reopened,
and the Tiberius Bridge. During the visit the guide will remind you of famous people related to the city: from Julius
Caesar to the emperor Augustus, from Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta to Giuseppe Verdi, up to Federico Fellini.
The visit ends with the entrance to the legendary Cinema Fulgor, in order to admire the hall decorated by
Academy Award winner Dante Ferretti, as a tribute to Fellini, one of the most famous directors in the world, who
was born in Rimini.

Second edition of the Italian Bike Festival, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini, APT Servizi
Emilia Romagna and Destination Turistica Romagna, is ready to return.
The numbers of last year: over 25,000 participants, more than 190 brands, 3 tracks outside the expo area where
you can try more than 1,000 bikes, an off road area of 600 square meters dedicated to mountain and electric
bikes and a ring inside the village reserved for urban and road bikes.
The expo area will be further expanded.
Here is the first big news, the first Italian stage of the 2019 e-Enduro International Series.
Once again all the participants will have the opportunity to try out the bikes and accessories of 2020, on routes
inside and outside the village.
Meetings with the great champions of the past as Mario Cipollini, Alessandro Ballan, Paolo Bettini and Davide
Cassani.
Another great novelty will be the first edition of Italian Bike Around, scheduled for September 16th and 17th in

territory, where the passion for motorbikes is deep and genuine. In 2013 the circuit has changed name to Misano

The works, which constitute the first part of the drawing collection of the 'Archivio Biennale Disegno', are creations
