The new "Original Friday" film festival, promoted by the Giometti Cinema Group, offers every Friday a film in the
original English language with Italian subtitles, for those who want to enjoy the original vision of the film and hear
the voices of the most famous actors without dubbing, for those who want to train with English in the cinema and
for students who can exercise while having fun.
The screenings are held with a single show at 9.00 pm at the Cinema Multiplex Le Befane.
The first appointment of the review, Friday 20 January, with the film The Fabelmans (USA 2022), the latest

Men's and women's Italian Cup finals at the RDS Stadium
The Palazzo dello Sport RDS Stadium in Rimini hosts the third edition of the men's and women's Italian Cup
Finals of the Italian Handball Federation (FIGH).
The event involves 16 teams: the top eight of the men's Serie A Gold and women's Serie A1 standings at the end
of the first leg of the regular season.
To defend last year's trophy, the Sardinians of Raimond Sassari and the South Tyroleans of Brixen Südtirol.
2 and 3 February the quarter-finals, four games a day.
Saturday 4 February the semi-finals and, on 5 February, the finals which award the trophy.
The two finals (Sunday 5 February) will be held respectively at 11:30am (female) and 1:30pm (male). Both
matches are broadcast live on Sky Sports Arena – and streamed on Eleven Sports.

Show of the Theater Season of prose and dance 2022/2023 - DANCE
An appointment with contemporary dance with an internationally renowned choreographer such as Michele Di
Stefano, consecrated by the Silver Lion of dance.
The mk group directed by him proposes his latest creation, Maqam, from the name of an Arabic word that
indicates a system of melodic organization, but also a place or a frame of mind.
The performance explores the relationship between body movement and music, in a hypnotic and enveloping
action, suspended between tradition and contemporaneity, Middle Eastern and electroacoustic sounds.

A tour to discover the love story between Isotta degli Atti and Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, leader and Lord of
Rimini from 1417 to 1468.
The guide accompanies the participants outside Castel Sismondo, the fortress-residence of Sigismondo, who
dedicated an entire wing to his Isotta, and physical testimony of the power of the Lord of Romagna par
excellence, together with the Palazzo dell'Arengo in Piazza Cavour.

The Italian parliament recognizes February 10 as 'Remembrance Day' in memory of the victims of the sinkholes,
of the Julian-Dalmatian exodus and of Istria after World War II and, more generally, of the complex events on the
eastern Italian border.
The Municipality of Rimini proposes various initiatives for the occasion:

monument dedicated to the victims of the sinkholes, the Julian-Dalmatian exodus and the events of the eastern

Carnival party organized by the Tourist Committee of Torre Pedrera
An afternoon of fun organized by the Tourist Committee of Torre Pedrera.
The event combines tradition and modernity, embodying the spirit of Carnival, a hymn to lightheartedness.
Torre Pedrera hosts in its streets some of the most famous and loved masks of the commedia dell'arte.
Arlecchino, Pulcinella, Colombina and Pantalone entertain everyone present, rediscovering the popular games of
the past, the ancient flavors of the most typical food, the masks and the story of the characters that hide behind
the costumes.
The streets of the town are closed to traffic and are named after the masks themselves.
At 2.30pm in piazza Sacchini (piazza Arlecchino) you can dance with Marco Casadei.
From 2.45pm to 4.30pm entertainment and games in viale Dogali (viale Pulcinella), viale Harar (viale Pantalone),
via Giuba (via Colombina), piazza Alessandro Sacchini (piazza Arlecchino).
At 4:30pm in front of Beach 66 Simon Samaki Osiage of "Speaker Box Street Party", directly from London,
accompanied by the boys of Romagna Paddle Surf, give life to a Flash Mob dedicated to inclusion and fun.
At the end of the Flash Mob (5.00 pm), hot drinks (chocolate, tea) offered to all participants in Piazza Alessandro
Sacchini (Piazza Arlecchino) and food stands.
During the party, a Selfie corner is set up with the photographer Elisabetta Acquaviva.

Carnival Together at Grotta Rossa

Parade of Carnival masks and floats at the parish of the Resurrection
A cheerful Sunday for everyone with a parade of Carnival masks and floats, distribution of sweets and
entertainment for the children.
The party begins at 2.00pm, in the church square, with a singing performance by the 'Resurrection' kindergarten,
followed by a parade of masks and floats. All masked children can get on a train. The animation of the Matadors
and Stella's DJ accompany the parade, which ends around 4.30pm in the church square with the presentation
ceremony and the delivery of attendance certificates to all the masked groups.

The French carousel in Piazza Cavour for the XXI edition of the Rimini Carnival
Rimini's old town center hosts the 21st edition of "Color Coriandolo".
Two days of celebration in the historic center, which becomes an open-air arena for shows and music, with artists,
jugglers, musicians, acrobats, fairytale characters and pyrotechnic effects.Games, dances, colors, parades,
masks, jokes and fun, these are the ingredients to celebrate Carnival in the streets and have fun for a widespread
entertainment in the historic centre of Rimini.
On Sunday 19 February the city comes alive with dancers, musicians, jugglers and with the Brass Band, six
colorful, surreal musicians who move among the notes of their brass instruments, spreading a contagious joy.
Tuesday 21 February Mardi Gras is celebrated with an evocative performance by artists with spectacular
costumes, statuary characters with papier-mâché faces, drum rhythms, stilt walkers, luminous butterflies, light
effects and acrobatics, for a finale in the company of the most beloved characters of the Lewis Carroll's
masterpiece: from Alice to the Mad Hatter, from the White Rabbit to the Queen of Hearts.
To accompany the parades of masks and the games, Radio Bruno, protagonist of the musical animation of the
day.
From Saturday 4 February, and for the entire Carnival period, the French carousel begins spinning with its
magical wheel made of lights, old-style wooden horses and carriages. An ancient amusement that still makes
dream children and adults, who re-experoence their past as children.

As part of the Remembrance Day the exhibition entitled "Auschwitz-Birkenau 1940-1945. Concentration camp and

Photographic exhibition celebrating the centenary of the birth of Amedeo Montemaggi (1923-2023), with
unpublished images from the archive of this important protagonist of the city's culture.
Known as a journalist, founder of the Rimini editorial staff of Resto del Carlino in the 1950s, popularizer of the
artistic beauties of Rimini and finally a historian with a passion for the events of the Gothic Line, his photographic
activity was so far completely unknown, documented by the recent discovery in his home of over 40,000
negatives.
These are visual testimonies of the reconstruction of Rimini's society and landscapes, with the first years of the
tourist boom, social events, fashion and personalities of that era in which the foundations of contemporary Rimini
were laid.

Group or individual lessons of first level Nordic Walking and advanced techniques are also possible.

On 15 March the Legio XIII Gemina commemorates the conspiracy against Gaius Julius Caesar
Gaius Julius Caesar was assassinated on 15 March of 44 B.C.
This date is historically known as "the Ides of March".
Wednesday 15 March 2023 Rimini wants to commemorate the historic event in the place where tradition tells that
Caesar had harangued the legionaries of the XIII Gemina Legion after the passage of the Rubicone river.
The ceremony includes the deposition, by the "legionaries", of a laurel crown at the foot of the 'Suggestum'
located in Piazza Tre Martiri, the place where more than two thousand years ago Julius Caesar pronounced the
famous phrase "ALEA IACTA EST".

The world of games and entertainment arrives at Rimini Fiera for the leading event aimed at all operators in Italy

professional sector by means of a business card, membership card, business license or other document certifying
their activity. Access to minors is not permitted.

With the arrival of Spring, Giardini d'Autore returns, the event dedicated to plants, the garden, art, the landscape
and beauty.
The spring botanical event moves to the historic center of Rimini for a weekend between nature and beauty, in the
evocative setting of Castel Sismondo and Piazza dei Sogni.
The protagonists are, as always, the best Italian nurserymen who, through their botanical proposal, give each
year the opportunity to get to know and buy unique plants and essences for gardens and terraces.
A weekend to enjoy among gardening workshops, decoration courses, meetings, guided tours, walks and
appointments for young and old. The spaces of the city in the heart of Rimini are colored green and open up to a
contamination between art and nature, a dialogue that passes through the five senses capable of astonishing and
opening ypur mind on ever new scenarios and suggestions.
The new square that bears the evocative name of piazza dei Sogni is transformed into an ephemeral and
temporary garden full of spring colors and blooms that dialogues with the formal green space of the courtyard of
the Part, the new museum of modern and contemporary art in Rimini and with the body of water that embraces

Rimini Dance Festival is a national sport dance competition of various categories, organized by Rimini Dance
