Application Criteria For applications Being a full-time student at OzU Having completed at least one semester (24 ECTS credits) CGPA ≥ 2.20 for undergraduate students CGPA ≥ 3.00 for graduate students – (academic advisor’s approval should be sent to IO by email before the application deadline.) Registering for the Erasmus Language Exam (ELE 2021) and getting min. 60/100 points or having a valid score (min. 60/100 points) from the previous ELE (ELE 2020). Submitting a resume (mandatory) and passport number (optional) For participation Being a full-time student at OzU Having completed freshman year (59 ECTS credits) Must have left min. 30 ECTS credits upon graduation
Important Dates 1. Online Application Period: 5 - 19 February 2021,13:00 – KION System intexchange.ozyegin.edu.tr 2. Take the ELE - 26 February 2021, Friday or prefer to proceed with your valid ELE Score from 2020. ELE scores are valid for two academic years. Results will be announced early March. Further details on the exam (i.e., methods: online or face-to-face) will be shared with you as soon as an executive decision regarding the instructional methods for the 2020-21 Spring semester is made by the university. 3. Ranking & placement results will be announced in March. 4. Submitting the Commitment Form by 30 March 2021, Tuesday. If you don’t submit your commitment form, your application will be automatically cancelled. 5. Submitting 2nd language proficiency report for students who will study in a language other than English if applicable – 30 March 2021, Tuesday.
Evaluation and Selection of Students -1 Applications are first evaluated for eligibility by the OzU IO. Students who have a minimum of 60/100 ELE score and a minimum of 2.20/4.00 CGPA will be evaluated. Placement and evaluation is based on the Erasmus score. • Erasmus Score = CGPA 50% + ELE Score 50% + if applicable, additional Turkish National Agency Additional Criteria After the eligibility check, students are placed to partner institutions based on their Erasmus scores, preferences and the quotas of the partner institutions. Student with the highest Erasmus Score is placed to the first institution in his/her preference list. Ranking will be faculty based.
Evaluation and Selection of Students - 2 Additional Criteria for Erasmus Scores by the Turkish National Agency (2020 Program Rules): -10 points : Previous participation or withdrawing from after submitting the commitment form -10 points : Participation in the program in the country of citizenship. -5 points : Placed students who do not attend the meeting/orientation about mobility without a valid excuse – in the case of a student applying to the Erasmus program again - 5 points : Placed students who do not inform OzU IO regarding the non-participation in mobility on time – in the case of a student applying to the Erasmus program again +10 points : Students who submit an official letter based on Act No. 2828 on social services and child protection agency +10 points : Disabled Identity Card holders. +15 points : Veterans/Martyrs Identity Card holders. If you would like to apply for both traineeship and study mobility programs, 10 points will be deducted from your Erasmus Score for traineeship application.

Second Placement Round Students, who are eligible but not placed due to quotas, will be considered for the remaining quotas. Eligible students will be notified by the IO in summer and the students will be asked to make institution selection again with the remaining quotas. 2nd Placement Round will be completed in Summer 2021 (about in August). Valid for the exchange mobility during the 2021-22 Spring term only. It is not applicable for the students who did not make the application in February 2021. Placed students will not be considered for the 2nd Placement Round. It is not possible to change the institution you are placed to.

Erasmus+ Mobility Grants A limited amount is allocated to OzU and is announced by the TR NA in late summer. Grant distribution results can be published in summer months, soon after the TR NA’s official announcement. Availability is based on your ranking within the faculty. Monthly amount is based on host country. Maximum 4 months (120 days) of your study period will be funded. Fund you partially, so you will need additional resources for essential living expenses. Grant distribution announcement cannot be shared with students along with the application/placement results. There may be delays with the payment of Fall term students depending on the TR NA’s announcement. It’s possible to participate in the Erasmus+ program as a zero grant student.

In case of any changes in the Erasmus+ grants in 2021, all students will be informed.
Additional Grant for Disadvantaged Students Students who are economically disadvantaged may receive an additional grant for their exchange term. In order to benefit from this additional grant according to the program rules, students must have financial support from the official authorities for themselves or their mother/father. Students must submit the official document provided by Municipalities, Public Institutions or Official Public Organizations (such as Ministries, Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations, General Directorate of Foundations, Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, etc.) attesting that they benefit from the official financial support at the time of the application. The monthly additional grant amount is 100 EUR*. * The amount can change for the 2021-22 academic year.
Students with Special Needs Additional funding is available for participants whose individual physical, mental or health- related conditions are such that his/her participation in Erasmus+ would not be possible without extra financial support can take full advantage of the Erasmus program Application to Turkish National Agency, with the help of OzU IO: A student with physical, mental or health-related conditions should indicate her/his needs and extra costs in order to apply for the Erasmus+ special needs support grant. The additional support grant is a contribution based on real costs. As such, the costs must be directly related to participants’ disability. Your application should including evidence which provides information on the level of disability. Erasmus+ pays particular attention to guidance, reception, physical accessibility, pedagogical and technical support services, and, especially, financing the extra costs.
