WELCOME TO THE ENDEAVOUR EXHIBITION The Endeavour Exhibition is Melbourne School of Engineering’s They are developed by some of the brightest minds to share largest annual event, showcasing projects developed by innovative solutions that can improve the future of technology students in the final year of their engineering and IT masters and industry and inspire the next generation of engineering degree. and IT students. These projects focus on industry, design and research to tackle real-world problems, improve processes and have commercial applications. DIRECTOR’S WELCOME Welcome to this year’s Endeavour Exhibition, where you will I would like to thank our sponsors QinetiQ, Research, get to meet the talented students who will become our future Innovation and Commercialisation and Telstra, our donor engineer and IT and innovators. Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, supporter Boeing and bequest donor Graham Beanland for The Endeavour Exhibition is an event that our engineering and their contributions to the Endeavour Exhibition. I would also IT students have been looking forward to since the beginning like to thank the Melbourne School of Engineering Foundation of their masters degree. The challenges this year has brought Board for their continued support. These organisations and means that our students have been working mostly from home, individuals allow our students to continue undertaking away from their group members and with only very limited high-quality projects that can have a real impact on the access to lab equipment. Yet they have persevered to bring you future our society. this virtual exhibition, displaying the projects they have been working on all year. Many of our students have partnered with industry, government and not-for-profit organisations to develop solutions with real-world applications, from everyday process improvement through to life-saving technologies. The projects highlight the diverse talents of each student; their creativity, attention to detail, entrepreneurism and hard work. I encourage you to speak with our students, either through the comment boxes on their page or during the two live Q&A sessions, meet the minds behind the ingenious projects and Professor Andrew Ooi learn more about their solutions.
