WHAT IS THE EMOTIONALLY
INTELLIGENT LEADERS PROGRAM?
The Emotionally Intelligent Leaders Program is a leadership development program
designed by Maria Brett to increase the emotional intelligence competencies of leaders. It
is aimed at leaders in for-purpose organisations who want to live and lead more mindfully.
The program is suitable for leaders at all levels of an organisation.
As a former CEO, Maria knows the territory and challenges of leadership and will guide
you skilfully on your leadership journey.
Grounded in mindfulness principles, the program includes a 180° Genos emotional
intelligence assessment and debrief to deeply explore your emotional intelligence as a
leader, a Masterclass on emotional intelligence, group coaching and real-time feedback
through a private online forum.
The program will help you to identify your strengths and your blind spots as a leader and
to reframe the things that hold you back. You will clarify your vision for the future and map
out your development pathway by setting and implementing goals to develop your
emotional intelligence and to transform your leadership (any maybe your life).

The Emotionally Aware Leaders Program takes place over 10 weeks. The program provides:

o   A pre-program 30 minute one-to-one session with Maria to explore your learning goals
o   A 2 hour Masterclass via Zoom - Emotional Intelligence for Purpose-led Leaders
o   A 180º Genos emotional intelligence assessment to seek feedback from your colleagues
o   A 3 hour group debrief on your Genos Emotional Intelligence Report via Zoom
o   6 x 90 minute group coaching sessions via Zoom
o   Interaction with Maria and other program participants via a private Linked In group to receive real-time feedback
    on your development process

ABOUT MARIA BRETT

         Maria Brett is an expert in leadership and organisational development who helps others
         to find and work at their growing edge, to lead and live more mindfully, with clarity, calm
         and connection.

         Maria has more than 20 years’ experience as a leader in the non-profit sector. After a
         brief career in the law, she followed her heart to work for causes she is passionate about:
         the environment, human rights and mental health. For ten years, she was CEO of the
         Counselling and Psychotherapy Federation of Australia where she led a major restructure
         to deliver substantial growth and to build a purpose-driven culture based on ethics,
         resilience and wellbeing.

         As a psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher, and as former CEO, Maria brings a unique
         approach to her work as a trainer and coach. She has integrated a lifetime of learning
         about mindfulness, resilience and leadership, and her own personal growth journey, to
         design programs to inspire others to grow, both personally and professionally.
