EMMANUEL MESSENGER | SECONDARY SCHOOL EDITION SCHOOL BULLETIN BOARD introducing new staff in 2021 With the introduction of a second stream of Year 12 classes this year and the natural growth of student numbers at Emmanuel, we have several new staff starting with us this year. These new staff members have been strategically chosen for their expertise and experience in key areas across the school, as well as their Christian faith. To support our strategic intention to bring a renewed focus to our curriculum and academic rigor at Emmanuel, while maintaining our excellent pastoral care and Christian mission to our families, last year we introduced a Deputy Principal of Curriculum in Primary School, Mrs Pinky Street and a Deputy Principal in Secondary School, Mrs Bronwyn Caruthers. We have already seen great improvements in our School’s curriculum and academic results under their leadership. This year we also introduced Year Coordinators to the leadership team of the Secondary School to further support the pastoral care and wellbeing of students. The Secondary Year Coordinators will be working closely with the Deputy of Students, Mr Stuart Hayward, as well as the Form Teachers and School Chaplains. The Year Coordinators for the Secondary School in 2021 are: • Mr Gary Dixon - Year 7/8 Year Coordinator • Mr Mason Campbell – Year 9/10 Year Coordinator • Ms Grace Gabrielson – Year 11/12 Year Coordinator Secondary School New Staff ROBYN JONES HEIDI RAMER PETER SIANI TEACHER TEACHER TEACHER ILONKE VAN DER MERWE DEBORAH JOHNSTON ASSISTANT IN FOOD TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION ASSISTANT & EDUCATION ASSISTANT 4 2021 TERM 1 | ISSUE 1 | 12 FEBRUARY 2021 3 SALCOTT ROAD, GIRRAWHEEN, WA, 6064 | PH: 08 9342 7377 admin@eccs.wa.edu.au | www.eccs.wa.edu.au | | |
