Electric Windshield Adjustment
ready
for BMW R1200/1250GS 2013‐2022
An easy solu on for raising and lowering the windshield.
This product replaces the original manual adjustment knob with an electric servo motor, and allows adjustments to be made,
even while riding. The motor unit is controlled by an illuminated switch which also features a center AUX bu on that can be
used for controling auxilliary lights, horn, heated seats, or other features.
The height of the windscreen is easily adjustable. This allows for op mal wind, rain, and insect protec on,
be er aerodynamics, and the ability to adjust windflow to personal preference.
The product is rela vely easy to install with the help of our installa on procedure, and is also shown in our video. Some level
of mechanical experience is required.
The installa on kit is suppleid with the gearbox with long M6 TORX Screw, Safety Red Pin, Universal Switch with 3
illuminated bu ons, with an addi onal clip for moun ng the switches directly on the handlebar, and a Y ‐ cable set .

Installa on instruc ons
1. Unscrew the 4 screws from the plas c protec on panel located between the headlight and the windshield.

2. Unscrew the lower M6 Allen screw at the windshield li mechanism

3. Turn the windshield adjustment knob to lower the windscreen all the way,
and the knob should be posi oned as shown in images 3a and 3b.

4. Motor is supplied with a red pin installed to determine the posi on.
Now you can a ach the GearBox to the triangular knob to raise and

It's important that you not remove the red pin at this point

5. Check the gear posi on, the red pin must be engaged to block the gears,
then gently a ach the GearBox on triangular knob.

10. GearBox is in final posi on Note: There are a few ways to install the switch depending on
how your bike is equipped and your personal preferences. Please review the next few steps before proceeding.

15. If your bike has the auxiliary light switch on the le mirror perch, AND you want to install the switch on the le side,
then the switch can also be installed directly to the handlebar using the supplied » S‐Clamp «you can install the
Switch Bu ons direct to the handlebar using the supplied S‐clamp

17. If your bike has the SOS switch on the right mirror perch, AND you want to install the switch
on the right side, then the switch can also be installed directly to the handlebar using the
supplied S‐Clamp

18. Route the switch wiring alongside the exis ng wires and secure with the exis ng rubber clamps and addi onal
cable es if desired.

19. Installa on of the electrical wiring and of the Power Y‐ connector:
Unplug the connector from the auxilliary power socket and install the Power Y‐Connector in between

20. Fasten the electrical wiring of GearBox and connect the Remove this screw for easier installa on
Black Connector of the GearBox

21. Remove the red pin to release the blocked gears in the GearBox

22. The engine can now be started and the windshield can be Middle Bu on AUX (see next page)
adjusted using the top and bo om bu ons allowing bu on to control
for up and down adjustments. spot lights, horn, seat hea ng and other func ons.

Warning :
‐ To reset the windshield electric drive system, turn off the engine for 40 sec
‐ The fuse is the same as for the power socket
‐ To access the max posi on of GearBox, press the up or down bu on for 3 seconds.
‐ We recommend that the installa on be performed by a technician or experienced hobby mechanic.
‐ We recommend use at low Safe speeds max 70 km / h

23. Middle Bu on AUX op onally controls auxilliary lights, horn, seat hea ng or other func ons as desired.
A : Press the middle bu on to turn on / off
B : Hold 3 seconds the middle bu on to ac vate Warning Flash or SOS ..etc
