Welcome 05 EFP (European Film Promotion) is delighted to welcome you to our EUROPE! UMBRELLA at the Toronto International Film Festival 2018. EFP is a network of 38 European member organisations representing their national films EFP President and talent on an international level. Under the Martin Schweighofer EFP flag, they come together to promote the diversity and the spirit of European cinema. 14 EFP member organisations are participating at our third Umbrella at TIFF representing the films from their countries that have been selected by the festival. Eurimages France 29 Active since 1989, Eurimages was established as a cultural support fund of the Council of Europe. Eurimages promotes independent filmmaking by providing financial support to feature-length fiction, animation and documentary films. Workshops and meetings are arranged between filmmakers and international shooting stars buyers to encourage film sales and international circulation. Since 2017, EFP has also offered FILM at the Berlin International Film SALES SUPPORT for world sales companies Festival/ Germany, February with European films at this top festival. EFP presents 10 of the most talented young actors from throughout Europe at the Berlin International Film Festival. The initiative provides them with multiple networking opportunities with casting directors, talent agents, producers and directors, all aimed at strengthening their industry alliances. It offers support and publicity to young European actors on the verge of an international career.
