With over 50% of the country mountainous – and what
2 mountains! - we can test our bikes’ capabilities to the
full. Our team is made up of bikers, and with our own
downhill racing team and chain of bike shops we are
in the ideal position to get feedback firsthand and
refine our models accordingly.
In a world full of cheap imitations, DRAG is proud of its
name and its origins and does not manufacture bikes
for anyone else.

Passion is what drives us here at DRAG
A passion for cycling that started in founder Dragomir Kouzov’s
formative years as a racing cyclist in the former Soviet Union and
materialised 26 years ago when he opened his first bike repair shop
in his parents’ garage. We’ve come a long way since production of
the first two DRAG Bicycles mountain bike models started in 2000
but we’ve never stopped having fun and have never lost sight of the
dream: to get people to love cycling. Today we create, develop and
design some of the best bikes in the world and continue to indulge
our passion by supporting some of the best athletes in the world.

Cycling Cup in 2015. Run by the French Cycling Federation for the best

INTRODUCING Martigues SC DRAG Bicycles
DRAG Bicycles has its own road racing team in the south of France - Martigues SC DRAG Bicycles.
As of 2015 Martigues SC Drag Bicycles is the new name of the French Martigues road racing team. The team, which turned 80 years old
this year and competes with DRAG Bluebird has already chalked up several wins on the national circuit this season:
Samy Aurignac ranked 1st in the Grand Prix de Montauroux, Cedric Eustache won the striking polka dot jersey at the Tour de Martiniques
in the Caribbean, and was awarded a special prize for the most combative racer at the 77th edition of Bordeaux-Saint road race, Florian
Esquer won the Grand Prix de Fabrègues.
The Rise and Rise of the Oliveira twins
Portuguese brothers Ivo and Rui Oliveira shot up the international track cycling
rankings after starting to compete with DRAG Bluebird. The identical twins compete
both individually and as an eye-catching team. Ivo took Gold in the individual
pursuit in both the European Junior Track Cycling Championships in Portugal in
July 2014 and the World Junior Track Cycling Championships in South Korea in
August 2014.

Korean track racer Huyjin Lee notched up some serious successes this season with
DRAG Bluebird.
She and her teammate Selugi Choi won Gold in Women’s Team Sprint with a time of
46.337 at the 35th Elite Asian Track Championships at the beginning of February 2015
and in September 2014 Silver in Women’s Team Sprint at the Incheon Asian Games. Kim
Won-gyeong and Lee Hye-jing finished their two-lap race in 44.876 seconds, behind the
Chinese champions of Gong Jinjie and Zhong Tianshi, who finished in 43.774 seconds.

DRAG Bicycles Official Supplier of the UEC
DRAG has established a successful partnership with the European Cycling Union (UEC), who chose the Bulgarian company
in 2014 to supply 400 track bikes in its programme to encourage the next generation of young cycling champions. DRAG
Bicycles were donated by UEC to the Armenian, Azerbaijani, Belarusian, Georgian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian cycling
federations. At the end of 2014 DRAG was again asked to supply 260 BMX and 29er bikes for the UEC Solidarity Program
to support young racers.
