and organic certified…AOP Minervois Le Bio Balthazar : Balthazar is getting Organic from a plot selection from La Livinière and Pépieux. 80 % Syrah and 20 % Grenache Noir Brown schist's soils, chalk and clay. Deep garnet-red with red tints. Complex nose and intense nose with blackcurrent, rosemary, blackberries and hints of licorice. Full body with well rounded tannins, fat, generous and lingering.

Pays d’Oc IGP Grenache Noir Syrah Merlot Mourvèdre. Chalky foothills from Aigues Vives. Made in 500 L open barrels with manual punching down then pressed with (clean) feet. Ageing in French one year old 300 L barrel for 14 months. Deep garnet-red with purple tints. Rich, complex, smoky and mineral nose with violets, blackcurrants, licorice, black cherries jam, plums and soft spices. Full, smooth, fresh attack with rounded and good volume and a long savoury end. Limited annual production between 1600 and 2000 bottles.
