What are tuition rates? Dear Dance Art Parents, Tuition: 2020—2021 Season Welcome to Dance Art! We hope you have a wonderful experience at our facilities. We will do everything we can to help your child achieve his/her personal goals. Below is some information that you will need to know. Also, some things you might find interesting! How long are sessions? We do not have “sessions.” Rather, registration is for the whole school year, August thru mid-June. Start anytime…withdraws anytime, but we require a two- week notice to withdraw from classes. When are payments due? Payments are collected four times a year: 1. Upon enrollment 2. October 15 3. January 15 4 April 15 If you would like to break up your payments even more (10 times a year), the payments will be collected on the following dates: 1. Upon enrollment 6. January 15 2. September 15 7. February 15 3. October 15 8. March 15 4. November 15 9. April 15 **Ask about our budget billing option for recital 5. December 15 10. May 15 costumes & fees. How do I drop a class? Please either email or call the studio. We require two week Classes begin August 17, 2020 notice. Tuition will continue to be charged to your account until two weeks after a withdrawal form is received. Exception: Medical conditions that are validated by a
physician‘s statement. A credit will be issued with the prorated amount based upon the date we receive the written statement (retroactive requests cannot be granted, as it eliminates our opportunity to fill the vacated class spot). SHOWTIME! Is there a recital? Yes! Dance Art actually has two recitals a year. A mid-year performance in January and our year-end performance in June. Our goal is to provide a fun productions that will entertain everyone. Of course, participation is optional but strongly encouraged. January Recital and Costume Fees – (Due to COVID- There may not be a Winter Show in 2021 The January show is a low-key performance. It is designed to get everyone up on stage and shoo away the winter-blues. There is no dress rehearsal, costumes are minimal and is a lot of fun. Participation fee is $15 per dancer due with October 15th tuition. Tickets are sold for $12 for adults and $7 for children (12 and under.) Dancers do not need a ticket. June Recital and Costume Fees June Recital Fee This fee is used to cover expenses incurred to produce our recital such as the auditorium, props, scenery, programs. It includes (4) tickets and a (1) Recital Finale T-Shirt (additional tickets and t-shirts may be purchased.) This is a per family fee of $95. ($10 extra for each additional child) SNOW CANCELLATION POLICY $95 per family due by February 15th June Recital Costumes In case of inclement weather, check the website (www.danceartstudios.com) or our Facebook page: Deposit: Due Nov. 15th $40 per student per costume Dance Art Dance Studio - St. Louis Payment #2: Due Dec. 15th 50% of costume balance Payment #3: Due January 15th Remaining costume balance The decision to close is usually based on local conditions and whether our staff is able to make it to the studio. Please note that we may be open even if area schools are closed. If classes are canceled, you may schedule a make-up class on your own at your own convenience. There are no refunds for snow days.
