D ear friends and colleagues,
Today, through sport, people compete and have fun, no matter of their age, religion, political party or origin. Sport represents a
relevant tool to make people experience that we are all citizens of the world. This is the great value of sport.
CSIT is a great organisation with a huge number of memberships and a huge number of people participating at our sports events. If
we believe all that, we should absolutely think about an up-to-date model of the CSIT, capable to interact with all: young people, adults
and seniors, no matter of their origin, religion, p
olitics and economic situation, physical and intellective kind of ability.
Our confederation needs to be flexible, smart and modern so to have an appeal for new generations. It is a need to share a clear, strict
and common vision of CSIT and to share the effective strategies. Without a definitive vision and qualified managers there are no effective
strategies.
Our goal is to capitalise the expertise of the oldest members and to promote the exchange towards the new CSIT generations. In this
way we guarantee the continuity and the high quality of work. We have the great honour of running a confederation, which is more than
100 years old, so we have also the responsibility to guarantee the life of CSIT for at least the next 100 years. I am looking forward to a
very positive future in CSIT and thank you for your support.

The launch of Mamanet in Austria was the first international Mamanet conference at the end of October 2015 in Eilat,
Israel. But it was not easy at the beginning: The project had to be made known in Austria by several presentations in bodies
of associations and above events and introductory trainings in clubs. Very helpful on that difficult way was on the hand the
network of the Austrian CSIT member union ASKÖ and on the other hand the international character of Mamanet and the
possibility to participate in international tournaments like the CSIT World Sports Games 2017. An Austrian Mamanet National
Team was sent to Riga and ranked 14th out of 30.
Meanwhile there are 21 weekly courses in Austria. The first competitions in the official regional Mamanet Austria league
took place in November 2017 and at the end of the season the first national championship will be held in Vienna in June 2018.
Mamanet reaches women in Austria across all age levels and regardless of their origin. Throughout Mamanet arise perspec-
tives and new tasks in Austria. Thus, some women were already given new jobs at Mamanet Austria. In recognition of all the
work, Mamanet Austria was awarded with the 2nd place of the Women power award 2017.
Mamanet in Austria has already been evaluated by the Center for Sports Science at the University of Vienna. The more than
100-page baccalaureate work also confirms the goal achievement by means of partly very positive emotional interviews.
