DSC C ON S TR U C TI ON U P DATE We have been in construction for about a year now. The renovated front entrance of the existing building is a welcome sight, and sub- contractors are in the new addition installing tiles, flooring, and even starting to paint the interior walls. We can expect to see some landscaping work begin late September to early October. Completion dates are projected for January, with staff occupancy expected in February 2021. We look forward to moving in this winter and getting everything ready for the public grand opening which we're projecting for Mother's Day week (if we can do so safely). There is a lot of work to be done before then so please, don't hesitate to call us if you have a knack for interior design or fundraising, and would like to help. We're also seeking volunteers for a Grand Opening Gala Committee. Call the "Supporters of the Dennis Senior Center" at (508) 385-5067 to sign up. Someone will call you back with more details about meetings and other activities, as soon as we begin limited activities in the building. Thank you all for your patience. We look forward to seeing you soon. - Brenda
