Breakfast & Lunch ALL School Breakfast and Lunch is FREE for the 2021-2022 school year. Breakfast & Lunch must have at least 1 serving of fruit or vegetable to make a meal. A total of 3 items must be taken to make a complete meal. Due to experiencing both supply chain and staffing challenges in our food distributor warehouses and delivery operations our menus may require substitutions. Thank you for your understanding and patience. NEWS LIBRARY NEWS—Spring Book Fair is coming! February 28th – March 8th We will be celebrating Read Across America Week February 28th – March 4th. We will be having a different spirit day for each day of that week. Students who participate can stop down to the library to show us their outfit and fill out a ticket to enter a daily prize drawing. Those students will then also be entered into a drawing for a larger end-of-week prize (up to 5 entries). Teachers can also stop by to show us their outfit in order to be entered into an end-of-week prize drawing for one of two $25 gift cards. In additional, students will include their homeroom on their ticket and the homeroom with the most total participants for the week will win an ice cream sandwich party in the spring. We will also be having a school-wide read-in during ER on Wednesday 3/2 in honor of Read Across America Day. Monday 2/28- Super Reader – Dress like a super hero (or wear a super hero shirt) Tuesday 3/1- Oh the Place You’ll Go – Dress like a tourist Wednesday 3/2- RAA Day - Hat Day Thursday 3/3- What a Character – Dress like your favorite book character Friday 3/4- Books Add Color to our Lives! – Tie-dye or rainbow attire March Madness in the library will begin on March 1st. More info will be coming next week.
February 19th through February 26th marks a special time of year for FFA. It is a week where FFA members all over our country celebrate National FFA Week. Please tune in to the announcements next week for some special activities we have planned! And start digging through your closets, because on Friday, next week, we are asking everyone at CWMS to support FFA in “Down on the Farm Day”. Dress up as your favorite farm animal or as a farmer in support of our amazing organization! It is mid-week of National FFA Week and we are asking all FFA members and friends of the FFA to participate in the “One Word Challenge”. Please see the flier on CWMS Announcements Schoology page to participate! And start digging through your closets, because on Friday, we are asking everyone at CWMS to support FFA in “Down on the Farm Day”. Attention all 7th and 8th graders: The Conrad Weiser Junior High Cheerleaders will be hosting a Sweetheart Dance on February 25th from 6:30-8:00pm In the Middle School Cafeteria. Cost is $5.00 per student. Dj, food, drinks, and giveaways. Come out and join the fun! Hey students-are you ready for a flexible instruction day? Do you have poor internet/no internet connection at home? Having trouble completing your homework because of this? See Mrs.
Voletto in the library to learn about the Kajeet-hotspot program and see if you qualify. Limited quantities and restrictions apply. After School Help will be open today in the library from 2:50- 3:50. A teacher is available to assist you with homework, projects or to catch up on other work. Please remember that you are required to stay for the full hour and you will need a ride at 3:50! CLUBS BUILDERS CLUB—We will be having a Builders Club meeting on Wednesday, February 23rd during E/R. We will meet in the cafeteria. STAGE CREW—Stage crew will meet on Wednesday February 23rd and Thursday February 24th.

Athletes are to report to the MS locker room and be ready to practice each day. The baseball workouts are from 3:00 – 5:00. If you have equipment please bring it to school in the morning. Come on out and get ready for the baseball season. Please bring clothing for indoor practice in the gymnasium and outdoors if it is warm enough. DATE TIME SPORT SCHOOL DISMISS DEPART HOME/ AWAY Attention athletes: Physical paperwork is online this year! • If you did not play a fall or winter sport, you and a parent must create accounts at www.planeths.com to complete all of your physical paperwork. You will need to print Sections 6 and 7 to take to your physician, then upload section 7. The physical must be dated after June 1, 2021! • If you played a fall or winter sport, you will need to log on to your planeths.com account and complete Section 8, the Recertification (Spring). If an injury has occurred since the initial physical was done, you will need to also complete Section 9, have it signed by a physician, and upload it. • If you did not play a fall or winter sport but already created your accounts at planeths.com to play a Spring sport, you can check with Mrs. Bright (w_bright@conradweiser.org) or Ellen Cerasoli (e_cerasoli@conradweiser.org) to see if you are already on the roster. High school Spring sports are scheduled to start on Monday March 7th. Middle school Spring sports are scheduled to start on Monday March 14th. Physical paperwork must be completed before these dates in order to be able to participate.
