£38k raised for Charity Partner
Southampton Airport smashed its annual fundraising target for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
(HIOWAA), raising an astonishing £38,000 for the life-saving service.
Over the past two years, the airport has raised more than £60,000 for the Charity; enough to keep the Air
Ambulance and charity Critical Care Team Vehicles operational for four days, attending an average of six
incidents a day, many of them life-saving. Southampton Airport has now announced its ambitious plans to raise
a total of £100k for the life-saving Charity over the course of the three year partnership.
