September 21, 2018: Hundreds of communities nationwide and in Washington, D.C., will convene to focus national attention on the urgency to double the rate of progress against cancer through community-driven action, ideas, and solutions.
GOALS • Local Solutions, National Narrative o Create opportunities to come together to map out actions needed o Connect and scale community- driven ideas, provide the foundation for a cohesive national narrative
AGENDA – Summit Day! Schedule your Community Summit as you see fit Consider including content available to you from the Washington, D.C. Summit, and through pre-recorded video modules. From D.C. – Content livestreamed or available on bidencancer.org • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM (EST): Opening Plenary featuring Dr. Jill Biden • 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM (EST): Focus on Innovation – Panel and Lightning Talks • 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (EST): Closing Plenary featuring Vice President Joe Biden
