A Message from the Superintendent WELCOME Dear Niagara Falls Community, On behalf of the Niagara Falls Board of Education, it gives me great pleasure to reintroduce a full-scale Community Education Program to the Niagara Falls community. We hope that you find the offerings educational, engaging and most importantly fun. These programs will give our community the opportunity to utilize your public schools in a manner that can teach new skills. Please encourage your friends and neighbors to join you in trying one or more of our classes. Also, please realize that this is only a beginning. We hope to grow not only the offerings, but the classes to include many of the skills the community is interested in. One of the five strategic goals of our District is to achieve the highest level of partnerships with our community. I sincerely hope that these programs give you a sense of our strong desire to welcome you into our public schools. ENROLLMENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION Class registration is on a first-come basis. We welcome anyone 18 years of age or older (exemption of lifeguard certification class) to enroll in our Community Education Program. The enrollment deadline is one week prior to the start of class. Our program is open to the entire community; we encourage residents of other districts to enroll in our classes as well. By Mail: Mail your completed form, including payment (check or money order), made payable to the Niagara Falls City School District. Mail to: NFCSD Community Education Center, 6040 Lindbergh Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Please be aware there is a $25 fee for returned checks. In Person: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday -Friday, when school is in session, at the NFCSD Community Education Center, 6040 Lindbergh Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Registration is on-going and accepted all semester. REFUND POLICY Requests for refunds must be made in person or in writing and received no later than four (4) school business days prior to the start of class. There will be a $5 processing fee applied to all refunds. Classes are held based on a minimum enrollment of students registered for a class.
