DISTRICT MESSAGE photo A MESSAGE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT The first day of kindergarten is one of the most exciting milestones in a child’s life. Our teachers and staff get pretty excited about it too. We love to welcome these young children into our schools and help them take their first steps on a journey of immense personal and educational growth. Winter is the time when our families and staff begin to prepare for that next group of kindergarten students. At the end of January, children and their families will have the opportunity to explore kindergarten experience at our schools. We offer both the traditional community elementary programs as well as a Spanish Immersion Plus program that offers a bilingual education for our elementary students. Families can check out the dates and times for these events, as well as information about our kindergarten program at flaschools.org/kindergarten. We look forward to welcoming the Ranger Class of 2036! Steve Massey, Ed.D. Superintendent, Forest Lake Area Schools 4
