From Principal s' Desk... Dr. Sanjeev Goyal Principal I am honored and feel very privileged to be the Principal of Community College of Skill Development (CCSD). My commitment to our community is to lead the CCSD with enthusiasm and passion to enable us to reach our goals. In CCSD our main focus is to specifically empower the rural youth of India who lack the resources, skills, and opportunities to continue with higher education by providing certification, Advanced Diploma and vocational education and trainings (VET) in different sectors. The VET will create skilled workforce while providing them ample opportunities to lead a respectful and independent life amongst its urban peers. It is necessary to empower them to negotiate several issues that confront them, with the teacher being a facilitator. I have an open door policy and urge all parents to take this opportunity to discuss any issue with me so that we can move forward together. With experienced and dedicated teachers and excellent infrastructure, our college helps students to realize their goals in life. I encourage all students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the college and involve themselves in all the activities that are offered. The overall development of the mind and body is a sign of a healthy and complete development. “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future”. Remember “The reward of every good action will be good only”. I, on behalf of CCSD family welcome all the students and wish all the best for achieving greater success and scaling new heights in the coming session. Dr. Sanjeev Goyal Principal
From Vice-Principal 's Desk... Dr. Rashmi Popli Vice-Principal It is my proud privilege to warmly welcome all the students of Community College of Skill Development (CCSD)to the academic year 2019-20. CCSD is dedicated to develop skilled students who can pursue their interests and strengths to the best of their ability so that our enriched students merge into society building a strong generation for a better world tomorrow. Creating better human beings' is our motto and we can do that when we are able to mould our students to be good human beings with values which are embedded for life. We aim to provide an overall development that nurtures them towards becoming strong and focused human beings. The main focus of CCSD is to empower students with sound knowledge, wisdom, experience and training in the highly competitive global industrial market. As we look into the future, one thing is certain – Skilled manpower will be a key resource and will be highly sought after within India and around the Globe. Our challenge in CCSD is to generate ideas that will ultimately benefit the society by providing quality skill development and to train people to work in fields where they will be valued for their specialized knowledge and skill. Here we provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development, where students are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student-centric environment. The talents, skills, and abilities of each student need to be identified, nurtured, and encouraged so that he / she is able to reach greater heights. “All odds, all challenges and all handicaps of life can be overcome with strong determination, persistent hard work, insurmountable patience and unshakeable tenacity” My best wishes to the new students entering Community College of Skill Development.
