        COMET ISON, AMERICA-EPHRAIM AND
                 OBAMA UPDATE
Shabbat Shalom! How great is the Lord God of Israel, and greatly to be praised! O Lord our God
how excellent is your name in all the earth. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help
in trouble. Thank you hearing our prayers in the name of your Son without respect of person. We
trust in your wisdom and unfailing love to teach us your truth and to guard, guide, direct and
protect all who call upon your name.

This week has been a little busier than usual with a trip to Wenatchee on Monday for surgery to
remove the cataract my right eye and a lens implant. Tuesday morning a post surgical visit with
my doctor confirmed that all is well after removal of what he called a “monster” cataract. I knew
that vision in both eyes was impaired due to cataracts and only peripheral vision remained in my
left eye. My vision had become extremely hazy making reading very difficult. Now five days
later, after surgery I can see relatively clearly with great JOY! I was given two choices for the
replacement lens. Since I do so much reading of the Bible, books and computer I opted for a
correction lens that lets me read without having to use glasses, but which I will use for distance
sight. Today, the print I read looked very clear. I am very grateful and give and thanks to the
Lord for being able to see. Jubilance filled my voice and heart today as we sang the song, “Praise
Ye the Lord!” I am really PRAISING God! Now I feel like I have a new lease on life and health
and can see without stumbling around and have a heightened sense of appreciation. It is
fantastic! It has been the highlight of my week!

This experience has made me realize, a lot more than before, how precious are our senses of
sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. The sixth sense proprioception is the body’s ability to
determine the position of its limbs in space without having to concentrate on each muscle
individually in order to correctly place each one. The proprioceptive senses are what allow you
to learn a new motor skill, the self awareness of the brain itself. There is another awareness gift
which is the Holy Spirit of God. Not everyone has that one, because that is a gift that God gives
to those who repent of their sins and open up their hearts to receive Him. In that sense I think we
can be blessed with seven senses.

Can you imagine going through life missing any one of the six senses? What about hearing? We
have wonderful deaf brethren who are unable to hear, and have had to deal with that trial and
test. These senses that help us enjoy life, we often take for granted. John 10:10—Christ said he
came that we might enjoy life more abundantly.

This week I experienced bit of nostalgia and a bit of sadness at the same time. Thursday evening
I tuned in to the Billy Graham 95th Birthday Special – My Hope America on the Fox News
Channel (and other Christian TV stations) where he delivered a video address. Franklin Graham

called it his father’s “last message to the nation” which took on extra meaning given his father’s
health and frail condition. The video was recorded over the course of the past year and played as
a television special. Evangelist Graham talked about the saving power of Jesus Christ, but also
said he is fearful for America’s direction. Aside from the sermon, the video had clips of Graham
during his days of his ministry. He is in failing health and was brought to his birthday celebration
in a wheelchair, but did not speak to the crowd. The video gave a bit of Graham’s history and
how he got started in the ministry and revival crusades. In 1949 he was preaching at an L.A.
revival and was a guest on Stuart Hamblen’s radio show. The publicity made Graham a superstar
and he began broadcasting his sermons globally. It did not take long for people to identify with
Graham’s charismatic and heartfelt gospel sermons. He has been credited with preaching to as
many as 215 million people in live audiences over 185 countries, not counting the additional
millions he has addressed through radio, television and the written word. He preached the gospel
to the masses to the extent that he understands it, basically preaching the blood of Christ and the
Cross. Not the image of the cross or the cross that is a piece of jewelry, but the fact that Christ
took our sins upon himself and died on that cross for our sins and paid the penalty for you and
me and all mankind. He was very effective in preaching that basic Christian message of the New
Testament of the Bible. People need something and somebody to fill the vacuum in their lives
and Christ to come into and fill that vacuum. Billy Graham retired in 2005. He was asked,
“What things would you have done differently if given another chance?” He candidly answered,
“I would have studied the Bible more, spent more time in prayer, and spent more time with my
family.”

I was really looking forward to hear Billy Graham’s Bible message for America on his 95th
birthday broadcast and earnestly hoped to hear something germane about America and what
America needs to do as a nation. Certainly a personal relationship with God and individual
repentance of sin is necessary for each person. However, the nation of America needs to be
called upon to repent before God and turn back to Him and to keep his commandments so that
we as a nation might be forgiven. He did say “America has departed from God” who blessed
America and made it great – which is true. But he did not specifically tell what America has
done, what direction she is going and what the Bible prophecies reveal that are relevant to her
actions. In his video nothing was said about all the signs that are evident today pointing to the
end of this age and the Great Tribulation that is coming upon this nation and the nearness of
Christ’s return. Nevertheless, it does make me happy and energized to know that Dr. Billy
Graham has brought people’s attention to their need of repentance and of turning back to God the
Father with emphasis on what Christ our Savior went through on the cross taking our sins upon
himself so that we could be forgiven.

In an exclusive Newsmax interview (10.11.13), Graham said: “the message I wrote in my book,
The Reason for My Hope: Salvation is what I want people to hear and remember. It is this—
Christ is our hope for today and our promise for tomorrow—and it is fulfilled in the great work
He did for mankind on the cross when He paid the penalty for our sin. He offers salvation to
those who will ‘come’ to Him. I’ve never known anyone to come to Christ and ever regret it. The
human heart can be changed only by the power of God. Hope is certain only through His son
Jesus Christ –not in the change agents of the world, and when the end of the world as we know it
takes place at Christ’s return, no government can prevent it and no individual can escape it.

Those who hope for it will welcome it; those who refuse to embrace its reality will never change
its certainty.”

There was so much more truth from the Bible that could have been said, if he had prayed and
studied the Bible more. There was a giant gap in his understanding of the Bible. He did not
preach the Sabbath because like most Protestants he keeps Sunday, nor did he preach the holy
days, which Graham considered as done away, that explain God’s plan and purpose for mankind.
God says if you will enter in to life, keep the COMMANDMENTS. There are the basic Ten
Commandments (Exodus 20) which Billy Graham teaches, but he does not go on further to
enumerate or pursue keeping the commandments. He has a basic understanding which appears to
be about as far as he goes. Continual prayer is an essential and necessary practice in our serving
and pleasing God. The more prayer we do according to his will, the more we can and will be
used by God and his Spirit of power in us giving us his knowledge, wisdom, and understanding
we need. I can also understand how very important the presence and guidance of the father is in
the home. As the responsible head of the family he is to teach, love, and lead his wife and
children.

In the times of the Bible New Testament, Christ and the apostles all observed the 7th day
Sabbath. By time of the 4th century (325 A.D.), Emperor Constantine the Great of the Roman
Catholic Church and selected bishops from his empire met at the First (Ecumenical) Council of
Nicaea (325 A.D.) and distorted and changed the laws of God and Sunday was designated as the
weekly day of worship.

  "On the Venerable Day of the Sun ["venerabili die Solis"--the sacred day of the Sun] let the
  magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the
  country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their
  pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain-sowing or for
  vine-planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of
  heaven should be lost--Given the 7th day of March, [A.D. 321], Crispus and Constantine
  being consuls each of them for the second time." The First Sunday Law of Constantine 1, in

  Church," Vol. 3, p. 380."

“Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday [in the original: "sabbato" shall not be
idle on the Sabbath], but shall work on that day; but the Lord's day they shall especially
honour, and as being Christians, shall, if possible, do no work on that day. If, however, they
are found Judaizing, they shall be shut out ["anathema,"--excommunicated] from Christ.”

of the Church," Vol. 2, p.316. This is the first Sunday law decree of a Christian council. (This
law was given about 16 years after Constantine's first Sunday Law of A.D. 321)."By the term
"Judaize" they mean keeping the Sabbath day (Saturday). By the term "the Lord's day", they
mean Sunday. The Emperor carried out his statement that “Everybody who refused to endorse
the Creed would be exiled.” The change from Saturday to Sunday began approximately one
century after the death of Christ, as a result of an interplay of political, social, pagan and
Christian factors. The change in the day of rest and worship was not merely a change of names
or of numbers, but rather a change of meaning, authority and experience. Essentially it was a

change from a weekly 7th day Sabbath (Saturday to Sunday) and annual Holy Days (Passover/
ULB/Pentecost) into pagan holidays (Easter Sunday and Whit Sunday).

News—Comet ISON can now be seen in the sky as it approaches Mars and the inner
solar system. Comet ISON's highly anticipated flyby of the sun is now just a few weeks
away, and scientists and skywatchers alike hope the encounter gives them another
reason to be thankful this holiday season. Comet ISON will skim just 730,000 miles (1.2
million kilometers) above the solar surface on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28) before
heading out into deep space once again. If ISON survives this perilous plunge, the icy
wanderer could put on quite a show in the ensuing weeks, becoming visible to the
naked eye throughout much of December, experts say. ISON was discovered by two
Russian amateur astronomers in September 2012, giving scientists more than a year to
gear up for its dramatic brush with the sun. Researchers have tracked the comet
assiduously, training a number of ground- and space-based instruments on ISON as it

better understanding of ISON's composition, by noting which gases boil off the object at

God says in Genesis 1 that heavenly bodies are for signs and for seasons, days,
months, and years. A comet is a sign. Often it is associated as a harbinger of a nation’s
doom, destruction and war. In 1056 a comet appeared at the Battle of Hastings, and
England fell to the Normans. A comet appeared in 1520 just before Perzaro conquered
the Inca Empire in South America. A comet appeared in 66 A.D. just before the
destruction of Jerusalem by Titus and Vespasian mentioned in the Wars of the Jews by
Josephus. On Thanksgiving, ISON is expected to put on a light show that can be seen
by the naked eye. The comet of 1680 was a very impressive comet and reportedly could
be seen in the daytime with its tail stretched across the sky. I hope to get our telescope
set up soon and view ISON better.

Another sign of the times in which we live is the gross immorality occurring in the
nations today, and the gross immorality of the American Government Administration
and President Obama—too shocking to believe. I was asked to check out the website
interview with Dr. David Manning, a black minister. He has spoken in support of George
Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman on night duty in a Florida community when
attacked by a non-resident black teenager Trevan Martin who was shot to death in the
ensuing struggle. Zimmerman, a Hispanic, was found not guilty of murder by the jury.
The case quickly polarized our nation as activists called it a hate crime and racially
motivated. Attorney General Eric Holder and The Obama Administration chose to get
involved.

You-tube –I watched this video this morning. “High school classmate says Obama lies
compulsively and had sex with rich white guys in exchange for drugs, while he was attending
high school.” What are the facts? David Manning an African-American talk show host and a

minister interviewed Maria Pope—a high school classmate of Obama. She is also a devout
Christian. She leveled some heavy charges against the youthful Obama when he was in high
school, as a compulsive liar, a young man who would prostitute himself for gay sex in order to
feed his cocaine habit. In his own autobiography, Barack Obama admits using marijuana and
cocaine as a young man. Pope, who is 50 years of age now, would have been one to two years
behind Obama in high school, but she remembers him well. Pope did not socialize with him,
because she could not stand his compulsive lying. She told what she saw and lived in the
formative years of Barack Obama. One of his attributes is still active today, she said.”He was a
pathological liar even back then. Every time this guy opened his mouth these outlandish stories
would come out. It seems like he couldn’t tell the truth about anything.” What have we seen
evidenced in the White House with the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other
Americans at Benghazi , the IRS scandal, and now Obama’s public statement about his
Affordable Health Care law —“You can keep your insurance health plan if you want to—
period!” This was followed by cover-up speeches denying his statement, because people have
lost their health insurance plans they wanted to keep and their preferred and specialist MDs
because they cannot pay the increased premium on the plan they had and liked and wanted to
keep. The prophet Jeremiah asks: “Can a leopard change its spots? Can the Ethiopian change his
skin?” Even so, those who are inclined to do evil cannot change their behavior. As the twig is
bent, so the tree will grow.

Maria Pope has also identified Barack Obama as a member of the Tomb Gang that was dedicated
to smoking as much pot as possible. Pope says that pot wasn’t Obama’s only drug in high school.
He was already using cocaine. Back in those days (1970’s), cocaine was a very expensive drug.
Because Obama did not come from a moneyed family, that he prostituted himself to older white,
gay men to fund his habit. If you were going to do cocaine, it was in powder form. His
homosexual orientation and his sleazy fulfillment of that orientation have been around for a long
time, but may come as a surprise to some people. Kevin Dulan who is part of Chicago’s gay
community has long claimed that Obama was a well known face in the gay bar-bathroom scene
in Chicago and very much into older white guys. World Net Daily ran a long series of articles on
this same subject a year or two ago.

Dulan is not the only one who says that Obama is not heterosexual, or bisexual, but homosexual.
Wayne Madson, NSA employee and current investigative journalist says the same thing. In an
interview with World Net Daily, he states that it is common knowledge in the gay community
that Obama actively visited the gay bars and bath houses in Chicago while he was an Illinois
State Senator. Since Obama was so well-known in the gay community, how is it that so many
people kept his secret? The answer is three-fold: (1) Many have aired his secret with Maria Pope
being only the most recent. Larry Sinclair exposed Obama before the first Presidential election of
Obama. The media ignores this and these people so acidulously, it is as if they haven’t spoken,
(2) the upscale white men in the East Bank Club in Chicago may have had their own secrets to
keep about their gay life style, (3) a deal may have been struck, after all there is something very
peculiar when a man opposes gay marriages in 2008, but in 2013 says he’s “overjoyed that gay
marriage is now legal in Illinois.” Now the real Obama is being gradually revealed and has no
fear now since he has been reelected. We know very little about this man, Barack Obama, who
leads our nation. Obama’s former bodyguard has said that the scandals are worse than people
know.

America is becoming divided and polarized with the extreme right and the extreme left wings
with a lot of people in the middle who may be undecided, not knowing what to do because they
are not political anyway. The left wingers are the socialists and they are running the government
today. The Democratic Party is all left-wingers supporting Obama no matter what. The
Republicans are a house divided. The Tea Party is very patriotic, very conservative, and pro-
American, but they are being attacked viciously by Republicans like John McCain and others—
while the Democrats laugh at them and watch them destroy themselves.

Article—Is America being deliberately pushed toward civil war? Internal strife and civil war are
often natural side effect of economic despair within a population. If people can’t feed their
family, they have to do something. Bill O’Reilly of Fox TV reported yesterday that there now a
new threat showing up in Chicago called “flash mobs”. Young hoods six to ten in number
suddenly show up and invade a store, grab the wanted merchandise off the shelves and run—
“teenage gangsters.”

News—“Department of Defense propaganda briefings with military personnel in our country had
been exposed.” These briefings trainings of the D.O.D train current serving soldiers to view Tea
Party conservatives, and even Christian organizations as “dangerous extremists.” Reports from
sources within Fort Hood and Fort Shelby confirm this trend in America today. The D.O.D. has
denied some of the allegations, or they said they have corrected the problem. However, Judicial
Watch has obtained official training documents through a Freedom of Information Act request
that affirm that extremist profiling is an integral part of these military briefings. So you may be
listed as an extremist, if you are a Christian. If you are a fundamental Christian who believes the
word of God, you will be looked upon as an extremist and a threat. This indoctrination program
accelerated since January2013 after Professor Arie Perliger member of a West Point think tank
on combating terrorism published and circulated a report called, “Challenges From the Sideline:
Understanding America’s Violent Far Right.” The report classifies “far right extremists as
domestic enemies.” These people, he said, espouse strong convictions regarding the federal
government believing it to be corrupt and tyrannical with a natural tendency to intrude on each
individual’s several constitutional rights. Soldiers have been told that associating with so-called
right-wing extremists groups could be used for grounds for court martial. A general purge has
ensued including new orders handed down to Navy Seals that demand adult operators remove the
“don’t tread on me” Navy Jack on their sleeve from their uniforms.

PersonallibertyDigest.com A new book is out called Double Down: Game Change 2012 by
political analysts Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. It chronicles the Obama campaign of 2012
and his win over Mitt Romney and why things shaped up as they did. It also claims aides to the
president relate that president Obama, said “I’m really good at killing people” when he was
discussing his use of drone strikes. This is the same Barack Obama who was given the Nobel
Peace Prize before he had ever done anything. The Obama Administration has now formally
acknowledged that it has killed four American citizens in drone strikes outside the battlefields of
Afghanistan and Iraq, arguing that its actions were justified by the danger to the U.S. One of
those killed was “American born Anwar al Awlaki who was an Islamic imam and Islamic
militant for al Qaeda with dual citizenship in the U.S. and Yemen where he resided. The U.S.
government officials said that he was a senior talent recruiter and motivator who was involved in
planning terrorist operations for the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda. With a blog,

a Facebookpage, the al-Qaeda magazine Inspire, and many YouTube videos, the Saudi news
station Al Arabiya described him as the "bin Laden of the Internet." After a request from the U.S.

Article—‘Personalliberty.com—“Is America Being Pushed Deliberately Toward Civil War?”
“Does anyone really believe that the White House, with billions of dollars at its disposal, could
not get a website off the ground if it really wanted to? Does anyone really believe that Obama
would launch the crowning jewel of his Presidency without making certain that it was fully
operational, unless this was part of a greater scheme?” The government spent six-hundred
million dollars on that website and they can’t get it to work right, but Google’s website only cost
two million dollars. What happened? The website was given out in a no-bid contract to a
company being run by a classmate of Michelle Obama. Both were members of a black business
group at college and now the website has failed. CGI is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company that
had the biggest role that worked on the roll-out of that glitch-prone website. CGI was forced to
deal with last-minute design changes ordered by the government hampering its ability to test the
site. Where did all that money go? CGI has declined comment. Both of Obama’s presidential
campaigns, on the other hand, were hailed as technologically brilliant.

The article continues. “Liberal websites and forums across the blogosphere are abuzz with the
talk about sabotage of the Obamacare.gov website by the radical right. Once again, conservatives
are being presented as the culprit behind all the troubles of the left. As I have stated in the past,
Obamacare is designed to fail. The government has no capacity to found it, and never will. It’s
only conceivable purpose is to further divide the country and excite both sides of the false
paradigm into attacking each other as the reason the system is failing to exacerbate the country.
As the situation stands at present, there are at least 50 million welfare recipients (and who knows
how many others exist) as a resource pool for the establishment to be used to wreak havoc on the
rest of America. All they have to do is take away the cookie jar.”

If lured into a left/right civil war, would most conservatives be able to see beyond the veil and
recognize that the fight is not about Obama, or the Left, or tyrannical government alone? Could
we be co-opted by devious influences disguised as friends and compatriots? Will we end up
following neocon salesmen and military elites who materialize out of the woodwork at the last
minute to lead us to victory while actually leading us to globalization (the NWO) with a slightly
different face?”

Owing to America’s indebtedness to China and other countries who presently accept our dollars
in trade, should they get angry and become hostile, the writer goes on to say that “if a civil
conflict and revolution has been game-played by the establishment (federal government and the
Pentagon) you can count on the establishment having contingency plans regardless of which side
attains the upper hand. In the end, if we do not make the fight about bankers and globalists, the
Federal Reserve, the International Monetary Fund, the Council on Foreign Relations, etc., then
everyone loses. Who wins in a new American civil war? If we become blinded by the trespasses
of a certain man in the White House, only the globalists will win.”

The treachery of President Obama is obvious in his dealings with Israel who he professes to love
as an ally and our friend, but the truth is that he hates Israel. Israeli Helen Freidman says, “Once

again we see Obama is ready to put the knife in Israel’s back. It has been announced that if no
accord is reached between the Palestinians and Israel (between the Arabs and Israelis) by January
2014 that America will intervene and use coercion and threats to force Israel into suicidal
concession. This simply encourages the Arabs to continue to stall and totally defeat the peace
talks. The Arabs will just wait for Obama to bring Israel to its knees.” This is a shocking claim,
yet it is so obvious to me.

Daniel 9:27—“the one who one who is coming, the prince (of Babylon the Great and end-time
empire) shall force (compel) a treaty with many (Palestine) for one week.” The perilous times
the Bible talks about are coming upon us very rapidly. Leviticus 26:17—because of our national
sins and disobedience, turning away from the laws of God, God says, “I will set my face against
you and you shall be defeated by your enemies and those who hate you will reign over you. You
shall flee when no one pursues you.” We have someone ruling over us today, a Congress and a
President, who hate us. American citizens might as well wake up to the fact. Several books have
been written showing his hatred for white people. He hates the British Colonial Empire and the
American Colonial Empire because of the race issue itself—racism. Deuteronomy 28:20—if our
nation continues disobedience to God and his laws, and trample on our national heritage—
“cursed shall you be when you come in and when you go out, rebuked in all that you do until you
are totally destroyed; because you have forsaken me.” Our country is so totally confused they
don’t know what to believe. Verses 45-47—“all these curses (and national problems) have come
upon you and will pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed because you did not obey the
voice of the Lord your God to keep his commandments and statutes that he commanded you.”
“These curses will be a sign and a wonder on your descendents forever, because you did not turn
to the Lord your God with joy, and gladness of heart for the abundance of your blessings.”
Regardless of everything God has given us we have turned our backs to him and ignored him.
Why did Billy Graham not quote these scriptures to the nation of America when he had an
opportune time this November on his 95th birthday?

Deuteronomy 28:25—“The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies, and you
shall go out one way against them and shall flee seven ways before them and shall become
troublesome to all the kingdoms on the earth.” Verse 36—“the Lord will bring you and the
kingdom he set over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known”—a New
World Order (N.W.O). And there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone.” Verse 48—
“therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the Lord shall send against you, and you will
hunger and thirst, naked and be in need of everything”—destitute. “He will put a yoke of iron on
your neck until he has destroyed you.” Psalm 106:41—“He gave them—his people—into the
hands of the Gentiles. And those who hated them ruled over them.” We have a Gentile as our
President and his Administration over us today—“given into his hand and brought into
subjection under their hand.” All these things are happening to us because we have violated
God’s laws and turned away from Him.

Deuteronomy 29:4—“Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see and
ears to hear to this very day.” People today are blind and wedded to their pleasures and lusts.
Deuteronomy 30:2-6—“RETURN to the Lord your God and obey his voice with all of your
heart, all of your soul –you and your children—so that the Lord your God will bring back your

captivity and have compassion on you and gather you again from the nations.” Verse 5—“he
will bring you to the land that you shall possess and he will prosper you and multiply you more
than your fathers.” And the Lord your God will circumcise you heart and the heart of your
descendents to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul that you may
live.”

America is largely the tribe of Ephraim. Hosea 4:17-18—“Ephraim is joined to (married to
idolatry) idols. Leave him alone! Even when their drinks (rebellion) are gone (sour) they
continue their prostitution: their rulers dearly love dishonor (shameful ways). A whirlwind will
sweep them away and their sacrifices (to idols) will bring them to shame/dishonor (NIV).” Their
love for shame is greater than their love for honor. This is a prophecy for today. Hosea 5:4—
“they do not direct their deeds toward turning to their God, for the spirit of prostitution is in their
heart, and they do not acknowledge the Lord. Israel’s arrogance testifies against them.
Therefore, Israel and Ephraim, stumble in their iniquity: Judah also stumbles with them.” Verse
13—“when Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria
and sent to king Jareb; yet he could not cure you, or heal your wound.” Verses 14-15—“for I
will be like a lion to Ephraim, and like a young lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go
away; I will carry them away, and no one shall rescue them. Then I will go back to my place
until they admit their guilt. Then they will seek my face, in their affliction they will earnestly
seek me.”

Who is this king of Assyria, the end-time Babylon the Great—king Jareb? The name Jareb in
Hebrew means contentious. It is a pseudonym/a metaphor for the end-time king of Babylon who
will be a contentious man, full of strife and the king of the New World Order/Babylon. People of
America have put their trust in Obama, but when we run out of money and our allies turn their
backs on us he cannot heal our financial woes and health problems, because he is largely
responsible for the $17 trillion debt and loss.

Hosea 6:1-3—“Come let us return to the Lord, he has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he
has inured us, but he will bind up our wounds. After two days, he will revive us; on the third day
he will restore us, that we may live in his sight. Let us acknowledge the Lord, let us press on to
acknowledge him, As surely as the sun rises, he will appear, he will come to us like the winter
rains, like the latter and former rains that water the earth.” A day in prophecy is a year being
fulfilled, so when this punishment starts it will last for three years. And in the third year, God
will intervene—this is talking about the second coming of Christ. After we seek his face,
earnestly seek his face and return to him, he will turn back to us and restore us. The third day—
the Day of the Lord—we will live in his sight.

Hosea 7:8-9—“Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples (nations). Ephraim is a cake
unturned. Aliens have devoured his strength, but he does not realize it.” Verses 11-12—
“Ephraim is like a silly dove—without sense—they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria. When they
go, I will throw my net over them; I will pull them down like birds of the air: I will chastise them
according to what their congregation has heard.” God is calling on the nation to repent.
Hosea 8:1-4—“Put the trumpet to your lips. An eagle is over the house of the Lord because the
people have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law. Israel will cry out to me My God,
we acknowledge you!” “But Israel has rejected what is good.” Verses 7, 9—“They sow the

wind and reap the whirlwind.” “They have gone up to Assyria like a wild donkey wandering
alone. Ephraim has hired (sold herself) to lovers.”

We are approaching the days of Armageddon brethren, and we need to be about our father’s
business and be zealous to get the message out that all the ministers are failing to preach—the
message of repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Repent and believe the good news of the
Messiah’s coming, bringing salvation and the kingdom of God. Keep your eyes on God and
Christ and let’s DO His work. Pray for one another and that God will fill us to the full with his
Holy Spirit to energize and help us to proclaim his word to the nations. Amen!
