Code of Conduct for All State Compensation Insurance Fund Workforce Members MESSAGE FROM VERNON STEINER, PRESIDENT AND CEO Dear State Fund Team, Doing the right thing isn’t always simple, easy, or clear. But doing the right thing is part of who we are—it’s one of our core values and it’s central to our goal of making worker’s compensation work in California. Our Code of Conduct is one of the tools we use to help us determine right from wrong. It aligns closely with all of our core values and is an extension of who we are and a critical piece of the culture we are continuing to build. The 2020 Code of Conduct revisions include: y Callouts highlighting your most-queried topics y Definitions of our four updated core values y Updated language regarding diversity Please familiarize yourself with the redesigned code as soon as you have an opportunity. By working together and holding each other accountable, we can ensure State Fund continues to be an honest and ethical organization.
