June Sandhill Cove 2019 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Mark Godkin Line Cook Mark joined Sandhill Cove inApril 2015 as a Utility Worker. He re- ceived a promotion in March 2016 as a Line Cook. Before working for Sandhill Cove, he worked as a baker at Publix. Originally from Virginia, he grew up in Florida. He lived a few years in New Hampshire and then came back to Florida. He is happily married and has 2 cats. Hobbies: he runs You Tube gaming channel and enjoys going to Disney and the beach. One country he would like to visit is Japan and Bora Bora. His wife wants to swim with the Jellyfish. “Don’t be scared, apparently these don’t sting”! Mark shared this during his interview: “Everyone here is kind and caring and it is a beautiful place to work. The res- idents like to share their knowledge with us”. Mark received a scholarship from SHC Foundation and he is planning to study Cyber Security. A few co-workers, had this to say about Mark: “Mark is always happy and willing to go above and beyond for the residents needs or to help a fellow co-worker out”. “He is the best person I’ve worked with so far. He is very quick with food and has a good work ethic”. “He is quick to sat- isfy resident requests and will even remember the specific way a resident likes their food.” Please join us in congratulating Mark on being selected as the Employee of the Month for June.
