Cosmos W elcome Cosmos Yachting is one of the leading European yacht char- ter companies with over 30 years of experience in arranging worldwide yacht charters through our own offices in London, Munich, Athens as well as in Turkey and South Korea. Cosmos Yachting is the official importer of Bavaria yachts as well as Nautitech catamarans for Greece. We own and operate a fleet in excess of 100 sailing yachts, catamarans and power boats, ranging in size from 32' – 57', for bareboat and skippered charters throughout the Greek islands. Our own yacht charter bases are located in Corfu, Preveza, Kefalonia, Athens, Lavrion, Kos and Rhodes. We also offer charter yachts from Levkas, Skiathos, Volos, Thessaloniki, Paros and Mykonos. Our fleet in Turkey is based in Gocek, but we also offer charter yachts from Bodrum, Marmaris, Orhaniye and Fethiye. Our worldwide Cosmos Partner Fleet consists of yachts from various charter companies – all inspected to very high standards. Over the last 30 years we have hand-picked a number of suppliers based on first-hand experience and test results as well as other tightly monitored quality controls. These companies are now officially recognised as our partners. Cosmos Yachting has access to more than 500 fully crewed mega yachts worldwide - either sail, catamarans or motor yachts, ranging in size from 50' to 250'. Tapping into our 30 years of experience we regularly organise charters on board these luxurious “floating villas” in the most beautiful cruising areas in the world. We pride ourselves on supplying expert advice. We can fill you in on the full range of charter yachts available, offer detailed accounts of cruising areas, compile sample itineraries and even provide up-to-the minute weather information. All our boats come with highly qualified, professional crew who are frequently checked and visited by us in person. Cosmos Yachting offers Yacht-Partnership-Programmes for sailing yachts as well as catamarans in the Mediterranean, and we also have a large selection of pre-owned yachts for sale in Greece. Greece ATHENS CORFU HALKIDIKI KEFALONIA KOS Cyclades | leave from Athens or Lavrion and visit LAVRION classic Greek Islands such as Mykonos, Syros and LEFKAS Santorini, with their white washed houses, brilliant MYKONOS PAROS blue sea and vibrant night life. The Cyclades are PREVEZA generally for the more experienced sailor with the RHODES prevailing “Meltemi” wind which blows from the SKIATHOS north, gusting between force 5-7 in July and August. SAMOS SYROS VOLOS Saronic Gulf and Peloponnese | leaving from Athens this area offers more sheltered cruising grounds with mild winds averaging force 3-5, usually from the north. Visit unspoilt anchorages and peaceful fishing villages of islands like Hydra, Spetses and Poros, or cruise the eastern side of the Peloponnese. Dodecanese | to explore this area you can start from Kos or Rhodes. Situated off the Turkish coast the Dodecanese islands take their name from the Greek word “twelve”, due to the 12 major and 120 minor islands situated there. The prevailing wind, like the Cyclades, is the “Meltemi” which in high season can blow force 4-6 mainly from the north-west. Ionian Sea | with bases on both Lefkas and Corfu the light winds and short distances between islands make this the perfect cruising ground for the less experienced or those with young families. With golden beaches and turquoise waters enjoy this stunning location including islands such as Paxos, Antipaxos, Ithaca and Kefalonia. Sail from Pula in the north and experience the real BIOGRAD SIBENIK Croatia with beautiful bays and unspoilt islands such as; Cres, Lusinj and Krk. PULA Further down the coast you reach the beautiful Kornati National Park with crystal clear waters and perfect sailing conditions. To explore the Kornati islands leave from Biograd or Zadar. Split or Trogir and the surrounding area provides the ideal starting point to discover the southern islands such as Hvar, Korcula and Vis. Turkey GOCEK FETHIYE Bodrum | start your charter from either Bodrum old town or Yalikavak to MARMARIS explore the Bodrum peninsula incorporating the Gulf of Gulluk to the north ORHANIYE BODRUM and the Gulf of Gokova to the south. Ancient forts, secluded beaches and small traditional towns await you as you cruise the coast at your leisure. Steady winds blow in the north-westerly direction between force 3-5 and afternoons are often accompanied with cool sea breezes which die away at night. “Meltemi” winds blow from May to October and can be strong in July and August. Therefore this cruising ground is more suited to the experienced sailor. Gocek, Marmaris and Fethiye | all three bases are easily reachable from Dalaman airport and are ideally situated for a sailing holiday in one of the most beautiful cruising grounds in the eastern Mediterranean. This cruising area offers sheltered sailing with hundreds of protected anchorages, ideal for swimming in clear blue waters. Perfect sailing conditions from May to October with a steady north-westerly wind blowing between force 2-5. Turkey is a great late season destination due to its reliable weather conditions and warm seas. Spain MALLORCA IBIZA Spain, Balearics | the ease of accessibility from just about anywhere in MINORCA Europe makes getting to the Balearics simple and inexpensive. Beautiful summer weather and a mix of bustling marinas and unspoiled anchorages makes this destination perfect for any charterer. Mallorca | the largest of these islands offers crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, spectacular mountain backdrops and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Charter boats are offered from Palma which is about 15 minutes from Palma airport. Hot bright summers with gentle breezes of force 2-4 makes this a more then ideal destination for any sailor. Ibiza | one of the most well-known islands in the world surrounded by sandy beaches, azure blue waters, amazing scenery and a vibrant night life. Similar weather conditions to Mallorca. Menorca | Menorca is the oldest of the Balearic Islands and also boasts the largest natural harbour, Mahon, which offers excellent maritime facilities as well as historic sites to visit.
