How do I choose a VET qualification? The qualification you choose depends on the career you want or the skills you need, and your current level of education. Certificate I Apprenticeship Covers basic skills required for specific industries, usually Apprenticeships provide a mix of paid on-the-job training offered in remote locations or through schools. and formal study. How do I study a VET course? You don’t need to be in a classroom to complete a VET course. At CDU, we understand that students have other commitments and that study and training need to fit around these. That’s why we offer a range of study options, including: Full-time Part-time Self-paced Online On the job Block or day-release for apprentices Or a combination of the above. Most VET courses offer flexible study options, so you don’t have to put your life on hold to gain a qualification. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Qualify faster when you have your previous training, life and work experience counted towards a vocational training qualification.
