Technology
PPO footwear is produced by a direct injection system. We apply 4 advanced technologies and 10 full sets moulds to produce footwear
intended for various working conditions.
There are: technology of two-layer PU injection (PU/PU), technology of polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane injection (PU/TPU),
technology of polyurethane injection on rubber (PU/Rubber) and technology of polyurethane injection used in boots completely made
from polyurethane.

PPO ESD - PU/TPU footwear protecting against ESD effect
ESD (ElektroStatic Discharge) refers to electrostatic discharge – alignment between the two objects to balance the inception of electricity.
Such discharge frequently happens in a split second, mostly in the form of a spark or arc voltage. ESD effects are commonly known
to everyone. They are recognized as discharges at the door handlers, shooting or while removing clothes made from synthetic fibers.
Electrical resistance of footwear in accordance with EN 61340-5-1 is in the range between 7,5x105 Ω and 3,5x107 (0,75 MΩ to 35 MΩ).
ESD footwear should be used if it is necessary to prevent electrostatic charge by an employee to discharge electrical intensity. ESD shoes
are used in the electronics, computer and automobile industry in order to prevent the harmful in the process of shoe fitting. Furthermore,
more chemical and pharmaceutical companies, in potentially explosive areas, draw greater attention to safety that is offered by ESD
footwear. Such footwear is becoming widely used in optics, aerospace industry, food industry, in biotechnologies, lab and scientific
institutes and some hospital positions.
