PRESCHOOL Bug Brigade New Preschool Camp 2years- 5 years Castlegar Community Complex- Purcell Room Check out this fun new program for your Preschooler! The Bug Brigade Camp is a 3 hour day camp that includes a half hour swim lesson. This is a parent and tot program that allows for your little one to imagine, explore and discover. Our preschool leader Daneve has lots of fun indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) activities for your little one to participate in. Outside, nature play will be a highlight of everyday as well as being creative with an art project. There will be a snack time for your child to get energized for their half hour swim lesson given by one of our CDRD qualified Swim Instructors and then a half hour of free pool play time to follow. This is sure to be a popular program and space is limited to 6 participants, so make sure to sign up early to get a spot! *Please dress your child in weather appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle, snack, bathing suit and towel. Castlegar & District Community Complex Summer Camp Guidelines & Information 2021 This year Summer 2021 Camps are back to provide fun programming for your children! COVID-19 has made us re-imagine some of the aspects of our camps to ensure we are providing a safe environment for all participants and staff. This newsletter will provide you with some information to help you and your child know what to expect! Safety of your child is our top priority! • Limited enrollment to ensure a low child to leader ratio. • Group Management – Large groups of camper in a single location will be avoided. • Hand Hygiene – There will be lots of it! Hand washing and sanitizing will be done at the start of the program, throughout the day before and after eating and in between activities. Hand sanitizer will be provided however, campers are asked to bring some along as part of their camp supplies as well. • Outdoors it is! – Camps will be held outside as much as possible. Indoor activities may be available during inclement weather or for certain activities depending on location. Plan to be outside during the whole day! • Not Feeling Well? – Please stay home and get better! There is no fee for cancelling due to illness. Sign in/out Procedures • Self-Assessment prior to arriving at camp – As the parent/ Camp Details guardian we ask that you perform a self-assessment with your camper before arriving at camp to determine if they Camp Intake Forms are healthy and able to participate. Do not send your child to camp if any of the following symptoms are present • A Camp intake form will be sent to all registered campers prior to the start of the program. SUMMER COOL CAMPS 2021 June 28th- August 27th Not your regular cool camps, still a ton of FUN! Choose from a 4 Day Camp (Monday-Thursday) or a 1 Day Destination Fridays Camp or Choose Both! These camps are full of ADVENTURE, GAMES, SPORTS, CRAFTS and MUCH MORE! Please make sure your are dressed accordingly for the weather as camp will be mainly taking place outdoors in the sports fields around the Castlegar Complex.
