CARNAVAL PREVENTION TIPS 2020 Carnaval is a very festive time of year. Everyone is focused on the fun celebra- tions, the streets are filled with people, we stay out late and spend hours in the sun. But these fun times also come with a few additional risks. Think about things like break-ins, car accidents, and even illness. Those things can easily ruin your festive mood instantly. Tips to prevent car accidents after carnaval Everyone loves carnaval, don’t you? That’s why the roads get very busy, and car accidents are more likely to occur. Make sure you are paying extra attention and driving carefully: • Make clear agreements with each other about who will drive home. • Make sure that the designated driver, the person who will drive home, has not consumed any alcoholic beverages. • After carnaval, pay extra attention in traffic. Tips to prevent heat stroke during carnaval Festive and smart: wear a cap or a hat. It looks great and you are protected from the sun. And don’t forget sunscreen. Be extra cautious with your children’s sensi- tive skin. How?
