Focused and driven to acquire the resources necessary to purchase a sportfish yacht and fund its worldly undertakings, you are justifiably
unfamiliar with everything required to ensure the reliable operation and preservation of its value. Besides, you’ve spent your life working
and this boat is supposed to be something fun. Speaking with a few fishing buddies, and maybe the broker who negotiated your deal,
you’ve decided to hire a captain. This sounds like a simple and straightforward proposition. After all, the credentialed individual should
certainly have the knowledge and experience to keep your boat running and in pristine condition, right? Once you’re sold on the idea of
a full-time captain, you begin to research job descriptions. After a few failed queries, it’s clear that even in the year 2020 the sportfishing
industry does not yet have anything that amounts to a universal sportfishing captain’s job description. That is until now.
