CA Commercial Air Curtains • Produces a higher air velocity than an overdoor heater for a more effective air screen • Helps to reduce heating costs by inhibiting heat losses • Electric heating elements offset chill factor associated with fast air movement and contribute to indoor air temperature Typical Applications FAN ASSISTED HEATERS CAS • Convenience stores • Hotel lobbies Features • Smart design with attractive white paint finish • Bracket for wall or ceiling mounting • M8 threaded holes for drop rod suspension • Models with ‘T’ suffix have adjustable electronic thermostat • All models can be switched directly by a CS-7 CAD wall-mounted controller • Models without built-in thermostat can be controlled by a CS-7 controller and/or a suitably rated thermostat • 6 to 13.5kW heaters have a built-in relay meaning that the minimum switching capacity of a suitable thermostat is reduced: 6kW (10A), 9kW and 13.5kW (3A) CAT Important Note CA commercial air curtains produce higher decibels than the equivalent overdoor heaters. Please ensure that noise levels are acceptable before installing. For an HCA2 air curtain to provide an effective air barrier, a high air velocity is required. The resulting noise output must be considered. For this reason, we do not recommend HCA2 air curtains for smaller shops or where people are working in close proximity to the entrance. web www.bnthermic.co.uk email sales@bnthermic.co.uk tel 01293 547361 fax 01293 531432 37
