Attention, local retailers - here’s a gift for you! The Chamber, City of Casa Grande and the Arizona Office of Tourism, have partnered with Arizona-based Hownd(R) to bring you more customers and revenue. Several of your fellow Chamber businesses are already taking advantage of this unique opportunity. Hownd makes your gift cards, coupons, vouchers and value-add promotional offers available to local consumers through your website, social media, email, the free MyHownd mobile app and a consumer website that will showcase your offers! Hownd doesn’t charge a monthly subscription and there is no set-up fee. The best news is, it will not cost you anything - so zero-risk for qualifying businesses! Through the partnership, a special fund has been set up for a limited time. The City of Casa Grande and the Arizona Office of Tourism will use this funding to cover 100% of Hownd’s Results-Delivered Pricing, so participating businesses won’t need to pay this fee when Hownd brings them paying customers. ____________________________________________________ Download the MyHownd app from your app store, and check out the deals from fellow Chamber members, DANX to the Rescue, Deadlift Coffee Shop, Ephemeral Touch, Little Barrel Antiques, and Salt and Sound. Business Briefs Announcement from the office of Governor Doug Ducey, Friday, March 5, 2021 - Effective immediately, physical distancing and mask protocols will remain in place, however capacity limits for businesses, implemented by Executive Order 2020-47 and ADHS Emergency Measure 2020-02 will be expiring. This means that specific percentage occupancy requirements for businesses issued
by ADHS are no longer required for businesses including indoor gyms & fitness centers, liquor licensed restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, indoor theaters, and water parks & tubing operators (previous percentage occupancy requirements can be found in guidance here). COVID-19 is still being transmitted in Arizona, so businesses shall continue to implement other required mitigation measures required by those guidance documents, including physical distancing and mask wearing. In addition, the executive order permits Spring Training and other professional sports to work directly with ADHS on reopening plans instead of working with individual local governments. All other organized public events with 50 or more people will continue to be reviewed and approved by local authorities.
