Bratenahl is the last “filling station” for millions of birds If you were to plant just one tree, make it an oak. It will stand
before and after their flight across Erie. These birds are hungry fast in Lake Erie storms, provide the coolest shade in summer,
for insects, seeds and nectar from native flowers, grasses, provide food in its leaves for over 500 different caterpillars,
shrubs, and trees, not ornamentals from other parts of the and provide acorns for squirrels and Bratenahl’s large number

year-round that prefer native trees and shrubs for shelter, creep you out? Stay calm and remember the birds. A pair of

Due to Covid-19 it is impossible to know which recreation events
will take place for 2021. Sadly, we will not be having our Memorial
Day festivities this year; please give a prayer of thanks for all of our
brave fallen heroes. Our Independence Day celebration is also up in
the air; it all depends on the numbers. Keep your fingers crossed!
To the Village procrastinators, all of the garden plots have been
rented for the season; maybe someone will share their tomatoes
with you.

Presently, the Center is open and following all the State guidelines
and mandates. Please check the website for updates or call the
center for more information.
