committed to making central Wisconsin a
renowned, local food community.

Together with our dedicated community members
and partners, Farmshed organizes a variety of
programming and resources, including this Atlas,
focused on educating different facets of our community
about local food and sustainable agriculture. Food
touches us all, everyone must eat, so together we work
to make connections between people and their food

sustainable, local food systems in ways that directly

Demonstrations
Each market season Farmshed partners with local chefs to bring demos to the
Stevens Point Farmers’ Market. Chefs showcase live to market goers how to cook
and prepare foods from scratch using fresh seasonal produce.
Growing Collective May // Stevens Point
Plant Sale
The Plant Sale is Farmshed’s largest fundraising event. The public is invited to
purchase annual vegetable and herb bedding plants on Memorial Day Weekend.
Over 40 dedicated volunteers start the plants from seed in early spring.
Farmer Tribute Dinner November // Stevens Point
Farmshed members and the regional local food community invite our Farm Fresh
Atlas farmers to a complimentary meal as we celebrate the harvest season.

We are an organic dairy milking 30 cows that graze on 150 acres.
We are also milking 60 goats spring of 2018 and another 60 in River Hills Farm, a partner ministry of Riverside Bible Camp,

We are a small family owned hobby farm, raising sheep for wool
and meat. From ground to brats, wool roving to hides we have a
variety of options. Our sheep enjoy a grass based diet, no need
for grain, just the good stuff mother nature supplies. During the
summer months the sheep are moved everyday in a low stress
way using our border collies to take them to new grazing areas.
We also offer stock dog lessons and take in a limited number of
