SEASONAL TOURIST ATTRACTION About us The Blue Lotus Water Garden is one of the world’s most beautiful seasonal gardens where visitors will see the largest display of lotus and waterlily flowers in the southern hemisphere. Spanning 14 acres (6.7ha) in size, the extensively landscaped, tropical-themed gardens contain more than 40 different ponds, lakes and lagoons that produce a stunning display of spectacular water flowers. The grounds are covered in thousands of flowering plants and numerous garden exhibits which will amaze and delight every visitor. To download our new image gallery, click here The Blue Lotus Water Garden is a seasonal attraction located just east of Melbourne in the beautiful Yarra Valley. We are open for visitation from the 26th December to mid - April each year, for the annual flowering of the lotus and waterlily flowers. The best time to see the gardens is from the start of January to the end of March. During winter and spring the gardens are closed for visitation (the plants go dormant and there’s no flowers to see). However the office remains open for bookings and inquiries all year round. Highlights • Stunning scenery in every direction with thousands of lotus and waterlily flowers to see every day. • The world’s largest waterlily species on display, the Giant Amazon Waterlily exhibit. • Numerous garden displays and exhibits including ornamental bridges, fountains and much more. • 3 km network of wide pathways suitable for people with limited mobility. • Dozens of garden shelters and viewing platforms offering fantastic photo opportunities. • Extensive picnic and BBQ facilities including Halal and Vegan BBQs. • Tour group facilities and catering packages. • On site café with a choice of dine in and takeaway services. • Family friendly children’s fairy garden, play areas and activities. • Great amenities and facilities including sign posted trails, information displays, tour group pavilion, plant and flower shop (nursery), souvenir shop, garden shop, disabled amenities and free parking. What we can offer Our attraction is a wonderful destination for FITs and Groups, your clients can expect a friendly, relaxed and visually stunning self-guided experience as they explore one of the world’s most beautiful gardens. We are experienced in hosting tour groups of up to 200 pax. We offer groups a complimentary garden talk presentation before they explore the gardens (using our extensive guide map). We also offer catering packages for groups (see Rate Sheet 2) or we can design a catering package for your group if they require specialist dietary requirements such as Halal or Vegan. 2019-2020 GROSS RATE SHEET 1 – ADMISSION ONLY The Blue Lotus Water Garden is pleased to offer the following gross rates for Admission Only bookings placed between 1/4/2019 and the 31/3/2020 for visits during the Visitation Period (see below). • 2019-20 Visitation Period: 26/12/2019 – 13/4/2020, open 7 days a week. • Gross rates are fully commissionable. • All rates are in $AUD and inclusive of 10% GST. • Children 0-15 years old are free of charge if accompanied by a parent or guardian with a ticket (excluding Group Catered Packages on Rate Sheet 2). • Rates effective from 1/4/2019 and expire 31/3/2020. 2019-2020 GROSS RATE SHEET 2 – GROUP CATERED PACKAGES The Group Catered Package Gross Rates quoted on this sheet are fully commissionable. They are valid for bookings that are placed between 1/4/2019 until the 1/4/2020 for visits during the Visitation Period, which is quoted below. If you require catering for children or specialised catering including Halal or Vegan, please contact us. • 2019-20 Visitation Period: 26/12/2019 – 13/4/2020, open 7 days a week. • Minimum group size is 20 pax for catered packages. • Gross rates are fully commissionable. • All rates are in quoted in $AUD and inclusive of 10% GST. • Rates effective from 1/4/2019 and expire 1/4/2020.
