Our luxurious 4 star hotel offers 89 deluxe guest rooms, 3 self-catering lodges, The Elk Bar and The Lime Tree restaurant. The outdoor
terrace features a built in barbecue and pizza oven, the perfect setting to host a post golf get together or prize giving.
Our 18th century Manor House stands proudly overlooking the golf course. Featuring 7 beautiful guest rooms and a choice of
stunning reception rooms, it is particularly suited to exclusive use, private dining and company away days.
Adjacent to the Manor House is our picturesque courtyard, popular for drinks receptions and outdoor events. The courtyard leads into
our spacious Russborough ballroom with its own bar and lounge and capacity for up to 250 guests for a seated event. The Poulaphouca
suite is located on the first floor of our conference centre and is perfect for meetings and events.
Weddings are a speciality at Tulfarris and guests always enjoy the option of playing golf before or after the big day.
TULFARRIS GOLF COURSE Tulfarris is enjoying rave reviews from professionals and amateurs alike. The 18 hole championship golf course has seen an investment of over €6 million since the property was bought by PREM Group in 2016. Works completed include the construction of a brand new clubhouse, fully stocked pro-shop, locker rooms, showers and bathrooms, all located next to the dedicated golfers’ car park adjacent to the first tee. Additional works include upgrades to the bunkers, greens, fairways and enhancements to the general course aesthetics. Standing by the shores of Blessington Lakes will leave you speechless. Set across three peninsulas, renowned course architect Patrick J. Merrigan has created a stunning 18-hole championship golf course paradise at Tulfarris. TULFARRIS GOLF ACADEMY Tulfarris Golf Academy has a flood lit driving range with 6 bays with a teaching bay and an outdoor teeing area. There is also a practise putting green and chipping area. Our on-site PGA professional Tom O’Neill is available to provide tuition to golfers of any level from beginner to elite. Tom uses some of the newest technology on the market including ‘Trackman’ and various other training aids to help golfers achieve their potential. Get Into Golf Programme One of the best ways to learn the basics of golf is to take lessons from a PGA professional. Tulfarris is delighted to support the CGI Get Into Golf Programme - a fantastic initiative to introduce novices to the game of golf in a fun and enjoyable environment. TOURNAMENT PROFESSIONAL - SIMON THORNTON
European Tour winning professional golfer Simon Thornton was appointed as Tournament Professional at Tulfarris
Golf Club in 2017. Simon is also winner of the 108th PGA Championship 2018 and has a mission in helping
Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort become one of Ireland’s premier golfing destinations.
Simon’s career began in Royal County Down were he was an assistant club professional. He soon went on to progress through the PGA
Irish Region, EuroPro, playing on the Challenge Tour in 2009, finishing 51st before earning his European Tour card at qualifying
school at the end of the season. In June 2013, he claimed his first win on the European Tour with victory at the Najeti Hotels et Golfs
Open in France.
HOME TO THE PGA EUROPRO TOUR
The PREM Group Irish Masters was staged at Tulfarris in August 2018 and again in 2019. The competition forms part of the PGA
Euro EuroPro tour offering players direct access to the Challenge Tour through the final Order of Merit, with
players competing for over £1.2 million of prize money.
The tour is played across 15 different venues and provides Europe’s best up-and-coming golfers the chance to gain
necessary experience of life on tour, and in front of the TV cameras.
Tulfarris will host the event again in 2020. It will be broadcast on Sky Sports Golf to an audience of 400 million homes. It will also be
heavily promoted on social media and through our media partner The Irish Golfer magazine. Sponsorship opportunities are available
for companies wishing to promote their brand to an extensive audience.
