The Idea The bicycle and its variations in the spotlight A traveling exhibition through 20 of the largest ECE shopping centers in Germany from March 2003 until October 2004 6 days at each stop with activity days Presentation of related products and projects From history over sport and family to tourism and innovative technology Lifestyles and more modern environment-friendly modes of transportation Activity days make the BikeWorld Tour and its content more attractive Special display modules serve as structual guidelines for each exhibition Multidimensional views paired with a mass of information and entertainment The BikeWorld Tour – drafted to be carried out in ECE shoppingcenters 3 |17
Leisure & Holiday Bikes for travel, bike tourism areas, luggage and accessories, Airlines visualized as offering exciting adventures in tourism. On vacation, on the way to work or in your free time – the bicycle is asscending in popularity. Vacation mood while shopping. The scenarios pictured here offer encouragement and animation for active traveling experiences. 4 |17
Sport & Wellness Body/Health and typical sporting outfits create a topical unity in the catagory. Animation, managed events and performances with an invitation to join in, opens a possibility for communication. Exciting competitions and innovations show that even from the health aspect, the sport can be fun. 5 |17
City & Traffic Folding bikes, bike taxis, the Deutsche Bahn’s „CALL A BIKE“ program in Berlin and Munich, the Postbike, trafficsaftey with the police, bicycle insurance, and such reflect the importance of bike use in the city In the catagory „City &Traffic“ the visitors see the possibilities of modern urban transportation concepts. 6 |17
Electric vehicles & Energy Pedelecs, E-Scooter, solar bikes, solar- and electricity providers as a network also the qestion of electricity supply (alternative electricity sources, offers from banks for windmill generators, the discussion about regenerateable energy etc.) create a unity of new mobility Environmentaly friendly and future concepts for a new dynamic mobility will be presented. 7 |17
Vision & Special Visionary and historical models, for example a bike from the 19th century next to a hydrogen bike of the 21st century. Production models as well as curious recumbant and cabin bikes as a special eyecatchers from all over the world will create the mood for this area of the exhibition. From the beginning of the bicycle to the visions and ideas for the mobile world, from tomorrow to prehensile for the visitors of the ECE-Centers. 8 |17
The System The displays, based from an aluminum pipe construction, are easy to move and quickly installed. They make up the heart of the exhibition. The complete equipment is moved on the spot and is also directly transportable. The individual backgrounds are made from printed fabric in high quality Digital-Print. The cords for lighting is built-in to the aluminum pipe construction. The equipment is waterproof, theft deturing, lockable and features a very high load capacity. Infodesk at the exhibition The infodesk will be manned for the duration of the exhibition. Questions will be answered, advice for bikes and other material concerning the exhibition will be available here. 10 |17
Example activity: BMX-Show At this sporty event the public will will be treated to a breathtaking BMX show accompanied by the most modern DJ music. Example activity: Test track An event that gives the visitors the opportunity to test ride the pedelecs, E-bikes, scooters and bikes. 11 |17
Example activity: Entertainment on wheels A danish unicycle circus entertains the visitors with an exciting musical and humor filled artistic show. Example activity: Services The visitors can bring their bikes to the Service- Event and receive free repairs or coordinate repairs through regional partners. 12 |17
ExtraEnergy ExtraEnergy was founded by Hannes Neupert as president and six other founders in Stuttgart in 1992. The association sees itself as the international information center for electric assisted and light electric vehicles and is the link between the people, dealers, manufacturers, city councils, business people, and euntrepreneurs. Business activities: Presentations at international public and private trade shows, also exhibitions, product tests and journalism Promotions in events with the ExtraEnergy TEST IT Track, a portable test track with incline and terrain simulation. References ExtraEnergy has presented a test track for pedelecs and e-bikes since 1997. Contracting bodies have included cities, electric power stations, shoppingcenters and manufacterers. Projectmanagement LTD & Co. The ECE Projectmanagement LTD & Co. was founded in 1965. In the area of intercity shoppingcenters ECE is the leader in the european market. Business activities: Development, execution, leasing and longterm management as well as investments.
