ALLENHURST BEACH CLUB SUMMER 2021
Dear Members: We are happy to welcome you all back to another fun filled summer at the Allenhurst Beach club. The beach club will be open on Saturday May 29th thru Monday, May 31st. Thereafter, the beach club will be open on weekends only until June 19th at which time the club will be open daily through September 12th. Beach Club hours will be from 10:00 am till 7:00 pm all summer. We are pleased to announce that Paul McDonnell will be returning as the beach club manager. Tina Pritzlaff, our yoga instructor will be returning to teach yoga on the oceanfront. The SS Allenhurst shuttle bus will be once again running. We encourage members in neighboring towns to utilize the bus service as needed. The Recreation Program and Swim Team will be returning this year under the direction of Rich Steckhahn. The program shall be open to all children who are members of the Allenhurst Beach Club between the ages of five and twelve and at the discretion of the Recreation Director. More information on the program will be available at the Club. As in years past we remind members that they must have a current picture on file to enter the facility; no exceptions. The staff at the main entrance of the beach club will be available to take your picture if one is not on file. We remind members that each member is responsible to check their guests into the beach club by using a guest pass. Having a guest buy a daily beach pass and then utilize a member’s cabana or use the pool is a violation of this policy and may result in membership suspension including the loss of a cabana license. Chair tags will again be required this season for all chairs. Each member is allowed one tag for one chair. To be clear, if a locker or cabana has 5 members, you will be issued 5 tags. New 2021 tags will be issued at the main entrance. We remind everyone that only members of the beach club are allowed to leave chairs (bearing a 2021 tag) on the beach. Beach club staff will not store nor set up untagged beach chairs. Any chair that is left on the beach without a tag will be removed and brought to the DPW yard for disposal. The Allenhurst Fire Department will once again be selling raffle tickets to win a prime parking space at the Beach Club. The winners will be able to pick a spot either at the cabana or main entrance. We are all looking forward to a great summer and wish you and your family an enjoyable season at the beautiful Allenhurst Beach Club.
