MB CONCOUR S & MILESTONE R ECEP TION OCT 4, 2020 Join the Wisconsin Section for a concours and membership milestone regontition event on Octobter 4th at the Beloit Club in Beloit Wisconsin. As the “Show & Glow by the Lake” concours changed to a biannaul event the Wisconsin Section with be hosting our own concours event. In additional to the concours, we will also be cele- brating club member major milestones and awarding pins to the members that are able to make it in-person to the event. FA LL COLOR TO UR O CT 10, 2020 Jerry Zajicek and Bernd Kampe are planning our MB Club’s fall color tour for Saturday, Oct 10th. We will all meet at 12:00 noon at the Wollersheim Winery, 7876 State Road 188, near Prairie du Sac. This historic and award-winning winery overlooks the Wisconsin River. We will have a light lunch at their Bistro. They are not doing any tours now, but you can visit their wine gift shop if you like (must wear a mask due to Dane County rules). https://www.wollersheim.com/bistro/ Afterwards, we will begin our driving tour to Mirror Lake State Park on several scenic fall color roads. We will drive by the state-owned and restored Seth Peterson Cottage (www.sethpeterson.org), which overlooks Mirror Lake State Park. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1958, a year be- fore his death. The cottage is currently closed to visitor tours due to the virus. A state of Wisconsin Park sticker is required if you stop to park, but not if just driving through. Afterwards, you can drive back home on any route you choose.
