Abstract requirements. Informativeness, meaningfulness (reflection of the main content of
the article, the purpose and results of the research, relevance and novelty); no duplication of
information presented in the title of the article.
The abstract in English is to be submitted on a separate page and as a structural summary it
must include the following elements: relevance of the research, purpose, methodology, results,
novelty, practical significance, conclusions. The abstract must be supplemented by the Ukrainian
original. The signature of the research advisor must verify the original text and its English translation
(for PhD and postgraduate students). It is advisable for persons with a scientific degree to use the

education establishment), where he/she works).
The abstracts should be followed by keywords in the appropriate language, which characterize
the basic concepts mentioned in the research work.

general problem to which the article is devoted.
       – Purpose – stating the main purpose of the research, indicating how the present paper differs
from the latest ones, complements or deepens the already known approaches; new facts,
phenomena, principles to be covered. The purpose of the article should be formulated in
accordance with the stated problem and review of previous researches (5-10 lines).
       – Methods - commenting on methodological tools of the study not limited to a list of methods
and techniques but revealing the essence of the above-mentioned application.
       – Presentation of the research material - the main part of the article that highlights core
provisions of the research and presents a full justification of the scientific results obtained.
References are made in accordance with the ARA standard (Ivanov, 1989: 235) – the
author's name is followed by the year of publication, and after the colon - the quoted page.
       – Conclusions - contain the main results of the study in a clear, fairly short, preferably
structured, form, as well as indicate the prospects for further research in the field. .
       – References. Bibliographic data are arranged in accordance with the international standard
APA Style. The list of references must contain the titles of the works the author refers to (at
least 5 items), and should not consist only of links (to websites, etc.). The list of references
should be arranged in alphabetical order and not numbered. Intext citation should be
presented according to the international standard of APA Style. If the Background section or
other parts of the text contain reference to the name of a researcher – his/her publication
must be mentioned in the list of references presented after the article. References to
newspapers, production journals, textbooks and the authors' own publications should be
avoided. References to unpublished works are not allowed.
The sources of the main block (BIBLIOGRAPHY) are arranged alphabetically: first come
sources presented in Cyrillic, in accordance with the general Ukrainian-Russian alphabet; then – the
sources in Latin alphabet or other form of writing (e.g. hieroglyphs) in Latin transliteration in
accordance with the general Latin alphabet (alphabetical lists are automatically generated by the
Word programme). Sources are not numbered.
In the constituent block (REFERENCES) the Cyrillic letters in the names and titles of
Ukrainian / Russian sources are replaced by Latin letters (transliteration) with English translation
added. If the bibliography (main block) contains references to foreign publications, they are
duplicated in the list in Latin. In the English-language article the bibliography is to be arranged in the
source language.
Further details on the international standard American Psychological Association (APA)
Style are on website of the National Library of Ukraine named after V.I. Vernadsky.
Pay attention! For the correct arrangement of References it is recommended to provide it in
accordance with systems of automatic transliteration:
• for transliteration of the Ukrainian text into Latin, an online system developed in accordance with
the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, January 27, 2010 №
55: http://translit.kh.ua/#passport (select the option ‘Passport Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
2010’), https://www.slovnyk.ua/translit.php (passport) is to be used;
• for transliteration of the Russian text into Latin, the system of the US Department of
State: http://shub123.ucoz.ru/Sistema_transliterazii.html is to be used.
References in the text of the article and citations should also be written in accordance with
the international standard APA Style (in parentheses: Author, year of publication, citation page
number). If there is a reference to a specific researcher in the literature review or in the main
text, their publication must be listed in the general list of bibliography bellow the article.
References should be made for each paragraph or sentence that is not written by the author of
the work, or in the formulation of which other people's thoughts and ideas have been used. For
a paragraph a reference is to be provided after the endpoint. (Abcdefg, 2015).
For a sentence the reference is to be provided in accordance with the requirements of the text, for
example:
< According to scientists, this trend may be reinforced (Abcdefg, 2019).
      Abcdefg (2019) states that ……..
      In 2013, Abcdefg wrote that… >

On creating citations, the page number from which the citation was taken must be specified. The
number is indicated after the year and is separated by a colon:
Abcdefg (2018: 15) writes that '...............................'. Or: Abcdefg (2018) writes that
'...............................' (15).
! It doesn't matter where the quote is taken, from paper sources or from the Internet, the reference
should be made in any case. If a web page has been used, you must also indicate the author and
year (if the year of publication is not specified, the last updated or viewed date is to be stated).
If the author is not named in the source, a reference to the title and year is required; you can specify
the institution or owner of the web page as the author.
If the reference is made to works by the same author and with the same year of publication,
the numbers are supplemented by a letter suffix in Latin: (Abcdefg, 2018а), (Abcdefg, 2018b), in
accordance with position in the bibliography list (in alphabetical order).
              • Pay attention! Articles with bibliography's reference listed in footnotes in the order of
appearance of sources in the text are not accepted for publishing.
             • Secondary citations, references to own publications or unpublished research works are
not allowed.
Сitations are to be made in accordance with APA style; the mentioned is to be provided
on the website of the online automatic link formation: http://www.citationmachine.net/apa/cite-a-
book.
