INTRODUCTION
The following guide is designed to assist you with completing your application for a
French Covid Pass as required by the French government.
Everyone aged 18 and over is required to present a Covid Pass when entering the
majority of public places in France, including restaurants, cafés, cinemas, museums,
and theaters.
A French Covid Pass “converts” your local proof of vaccination into a QR code that
allows you into these public places. These documents can be shown in paper format,
digitally, or through the phone application TousAntiCovid.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This system is only open to non-European foreigners.
You can apply for a COVID vaccine certificate of equivalence if you meet the following
conditions:
• Each guest traveling must complete the form individually
• You are from a country which is not one of the following countries: European Union
Member States, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Switzerland, or
United Kingdom (England and Wales only)*
• You are aged 18 or over. Until September 30, 2021, the COVID certificate is not
required for minors aged 12 to 17 years, and minors aged under 12 years old are not
subject to COVID certificate requirements
• You have been vaccinated with a vaccine which is accepted by the European
Medicines Agency or an equivalent for over:
- 4 weeks if you received a one-dose injection (Johnson & Johnson);
.- 7 days after the second injection for two-dose vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna,
AstraZeneca);
- 7 days after the injection if you have recovered from COVID-19 (in this case, only
one dose is necessary)
• You are already in France or you intend going there within the coming days.
• In the absence of conversion of the vaccination certificate, a negative result of an
antigen test taken at a pharmacy, available all over France, grants the user a health
pass that is valid for three days (72 hours).
*If you have been vaccinated in one of the following countries: European Union
Member States, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Switzerland, United
Kingdom (England and Wales only), you already have an EU Digital COVID Certificate,
which is accepted in France, and you do not need a separate COVID certificate.

REGISTERING FOR THE COVID PASS FORM
• Go to https://www.demarches-simplifiees.fr/commencer/passe-sanitaire-etrangers
• Click “Switch the site to English”
• Click button “Create an account demarches-simpliees.fr”
• .Enter your email and create a password (keep these safe in a place you can retrieve in
case you need to close the application before completion)

• The screen will prompt you to check your emails for an activation link
• Click the activation link in the email
• The activation link should bring you back to the Covid Pass page
• Click “Start the Procedure”.

IDENTITY DATA
• Advise your gender by checking “Ms” or “Mr”
• Advise your first name and last name by writing in the free text boxes
• Click “Keep on going”.

each step has been broken down separately in the following instructions

ADDITIONAL APPLICANT INFORMATION
For this section you need to:
• Advise your date of birth
• Advise your home address and country
• Upload a scan/photo of your passport (Maximum size allowed 3 MB -
Formats allowed: PDF, PNG, and JPEG)
• Advise your date of arrival to France (please refer to your cruise itinerary)
• Advise your date of departure from France (please refer to your cruise itinerary)
• Once all information is added, scroll down to section 2
“Applicant’s Vaccination History”.

APPLICANT’S VACCINATION HISTORY
For this section you need to:
• Advise the country where you had your vaccination
• Advise the date of your last injection
• Advise the type of vaccine you received (there are a number of options of vaccines
in the drop-down box, simply select one that includes the name of the vaccine you
last received)
• Advise whether you have received 1, 2, or 3 doses of the vaccine
• Upload a scan/photo of the vaccination certificate issued by the competent
authorities in the country of residence, clearly stating the type of vaccine used
(Maximum size allowed 3 MB - Formats allowed: PDF, PNG, and JPEG)
• Upload the Cruise Vacation Summary PDF file that you received from Regent
21 days prior to your departure date.
