Our Packages
• AMResorts offers a variety of wedding packages, that cater to different wedding sizes and budgets.
Each brand offers a complementary package, as well as comprehensive packages at cost that include
flowers, bridal make up, anniversary nights, rehearsal dinners and spa treatments.
• Our packages are consistent across the resorts in our brands, so clients can choose their resort and
destination based on their preferred package. For example, the Dreams Ultimate package has the
same inclusions if you choose to stay at Dreams Tulum, Dreams Natura or any other Dreams Resort
in Mexico.
• We offer equivalent packages across the brands, for example, the Dreams in Paradise package
available at Dreams Resorts, has an equivalent package at Secrets Resorts, the Secrets in Paradise
package.

Wedding Groups Groups Plus
• AMR Collection wedding packages can also be combined
with our Groups Plus promotion, making it easier for
couples to bring their loved ones with them at an
affordable price.
• The Groups Plus promotion offers a combination of
complementary room upgrades and free night discounts,
as well as a private check in, Spa discounts, and FIT
cancellation and payment policies (no deposit needed).
• Groups of 10+ rooms also receive a semi-private dinner
and 1-hour cocktail party (both up to 40 people), which
can be combined with their wedding package, as a
rehearsal dinner or wedding reception extension.

• 1 - The “Wedding Bible”
All our resorts publish a wedding guide. These guides list the packages available at the resort, their cost and inclusions, images of the
wedding venues on site with their capacity, food menus available per package, as well as price lists for additional items such as
musicians, videographers, and price per head above the package inclusions.
These can be found on each individual resorts’ direct website, on the weddings page.

• 2 - Calendars
All our resorts publish a general wedding availability calendar. This allows to see
general availability months in advance.
If a bride & groom cannot decide between 2 resorts and are flexible on dates, you
can check if 1 resort has more availability than another. This helps with initial
planning. However exact venue availability will need to be checked with the hotels
weddings team.
The calendar & wedding guides can be found on each individual resorts’ direct
website, on the weddings page.

12The Booking Process
• Before contacting Cara Hotel Marketing you will need to know the below information * :
• Wedding Couples Names
• Preferred Wedding Package
• Preferred Wedding Date/Dates
• Preferred Wedding Venue/Venues
• Approx. no of Wedding Guests
• Symbolic or Legal Ceremony
• We will send this information to the Weddings team at the preferred hotel or hotels.
• At this stage we suggest also requesting a Groups Plus agreement (5 – 30 rooms) or an authorized
group rate if the group is over this room count.
• Accommodation & Wedding confirmations are handled separately, by different teams in resort.
Cara will handle both elements, and direct to the correct teams in resort to avoid confusion.
* Use the Wedding Guides to determine the wedding package, preferred venues, and if the venues
capacity matches the number of guests, they intend to have in their wedding group.
* The guides can be used to calculate approx. costs for any extras or additional guests above the
package inclusions using the price lists.
13The Booking Process
• The hotel or hotels will reply with a Reservation Form, and the date and
venue availability, along with the cost of the judge should the couple want
a legal ceremony.
• The cost of the judge varies per hotel as the cost is set by each municipality.
Some packages include this cost, but other legal fees need to be covered.
• The wedding couple compare their options, including the accommodation
rates and choose a hotel.
• The Reservations Form needs to be completed with any information
required and sent back to the hotel.
• It is as this time we suggest they book their accommodation with the hotel,
and/or sign a groups contract to secure the rate for future guests if applicable.
• The hotel will reply to the completed Reservations Form with a payment
link for the $100 or $500 USD deposit (if applicable).
14The Booking Process
• Once funds are received, the hotel will send the Wedding
Confirmation Letter, the name of the assigned wedding
coordinator in resort, and a Wedding Planner Form, along with
other documents such as flower and décor catalogues.
• From this stage, communication is handed over to continue
between the bride & groom and the assigned wedding coordinator.
• The tour operator will be contacted closer to the time of the
wedding to process the outstanding payment for the wedding
package.
• The bride & groom are responsible for any additional wedding
costs above their wedding package, which will be handled directly
with the hotel. The hotel will likely take a hold on their personal
card for charges.
15Deposit & Payments – When are you involved?
Deposits
AMResorts require a deposit to confirm a wedding, for both complimentary and paid wedding packages. The amount varies based on the package

The complimentary packages, such as Wedding in Paradise, or Ever After Renewal of Vows packages, require a $100 USD deposit to confirm the
wedding. Clients can use this to cover the cost of the minister (which is not included in these packages) or can use it towards room credit, for a spa
treatment or bottles of wine at dinner, instead of the house wine.
The paid packages, such as Dreams of Love, or Secrets Ultimate, are subject to a deposit of $500 USD.
The below packages are subject to a deposit of $750 USD for the wedding, and are also subject to a groups contract for the accommodation, that
requires a 10% deposit:

Catholic Weddings
Catholic Weddings are currently available at
both Dreams Tulum & Dreams Sapphire in
consecrated venues.
However, we can bring in a Catholic priest
to perform a blessing in any resort, in any
venue.
Under these conditions, it would be a
blessing only, as a marriage is only possible
in a consecrated venue (a church).

20Beyond Memorable
• AMR Collection offers the ‘Beyond Memorable’ package,
at selected resorts and brands only.
• The package is designed for larger wedding parties of 50+
guests.
• The package is available for groups of 2 sizes, 50 – 79
guests, and 80 – 100 guests.
• The package can be used for groups of a larger size, and
the wedding couple would pay per head for the
additional guests.
• The Beyond Memorable package is subject to a group
contract. This involves a group rate and a 10% group
deposit.
• The Beyond Memorable package has group
accommodation benefits built in. For this reason, the
package is not combinable with the Groups Plus
promotion.
• This package has a $750 USD deposit requirement at time
of booking.
21Beyond Memorable
• The Beyond Memorable package is NOT an upgrade from
the Ultimate package. The packages have different
inclusions and are designed for different wedding party
types.
• We often suggest that wedding couples compare the 2
packages, using their group size and budget.
• For wedding parties up to 70 to 80 guests, often it’s
financially favourable to book the Ultimate package and
pay per head for extra guests.
• It’s also more convenient with the accommodation
booking set up for the guests, as the Ultimate package is
combinable with Groups Plus, for up to 30 rooms.
Therefore, there is no need for a group contract with
held group rates and a room block group deposit.
