Welcome to the AirAsia KL Junior League! It is a great honour for me to invite you to participate in
the 10th edition of the Kuala Lumpur Junior League with 2020 Season A kicking off on Saturday 1st
February 2020.
With the goal of providing youth teams the opportunity to play regular competitive matches, the
AAKLJL offers weekly competition for Under 8 to Under 18 teams, bringing together a range of
academies from throughout the Klang Valley. Our last season saw participation from a total of 160
teams, including 12 girls teams in the AirAsia Junior Girls League. We look forward to welcoming
even bigger numbers in 2020
The season will take place from February to April with matches played at The New Camp in Bandar
Utama, Ardence Arena in Setia Alam and at UM Park and UM Varsity Green in Universiti Malaya.
Finally, I would like to take this chance to thank our partners AirAsia for helping to make this league
possible. Their support allows the league to reach more youth teams and more youth players,
further developing grassroots football in the Klang Valley and beyond.

THE VENUES
Matches will be played at the New Camp, Bandar Utama, Ardence Arena, Setia Alam and UM
Varsity, Universiti Malaya. All pitches feature state-of-the-art artifical turf meaning games will
not be cancelled due to rain. That said, as safety of the children is of the utmost importance,
if lightning occurs we will cancel a game and arrange a catch up date.

SCHEDULE FIXTURES & RESULTS
The league will commence on 1st and 2nd February 2020 and finish on 18th and 19th April.
A catch-up weekend is scheduled on 28th and 29th March League fixtures for the entire season will be announced prior to the start of the season
(see opposite). This will be shared via the website and email to all coaches. All teams

REGISTRATION PROCESS
Before the beginning of the season, all coaches must submit their player list via the
online registration form. Providing your player list is submitted before the deadline,
